Great video - explains why I'm always struggling to make a living. Seems a shame that in order to change this I have to pull all this cloak and dagger type stuff. I just wish it could be a case of making great free content then people volunteered money in appreciation for the hard work. But they just don't. :(

A mentor can literally be ANYONE! People get so caught up in having an "expert" as a mentor, but that can really narrow your options down. A mentor can be anybody that you look up to, who is doing something you want to do, or maybe they're in a completely different niche but have something you admire!

A lead magnet is not a series of emails - it's typically a freebie of some sort (think a guide, pdf, book, coupon, etc.). It's usually DELIVERED through email, but the lead magnet itself is the high value freebie that gets people to sign up for your list.
Ugh! Still so helpful! We love it. We've managed to make your advice work in different ways, but I'm still curious. 85% of our customers are baby boomers. We all know boomers love Facebook but to directly target them or have ways to get them to buy is a little harder. I haven't been able to find any advice that actually works. Maybe you have some for me?
It all comes down to understanding your avatar - their wants, needs, pains, desires. What makes them take action. Sounds like you need to put out a survey to get a more solid idea.
You said the quiz gives valuable information about how to best help your audience. But if I am creating a quiz to give a Lead Magnet for free, shouldn't I already know the needs and wants of my prospects? Otherwise how did I create the Lead Magnet to offer it to my prospects for free at the end of the quiz? 🤔

Hey Ishwar, yes, they will definitely take away copywriter's jobs if they're a mediocre one because these tools could produce average copies too. Like Seth Godin said recently, if you want to be a copywriter, either be an an exceptional copywriter or just don't be one.

I'm just starting out, and am wondering: if I'm actually good at it and can get the results, will I have a place in this industry too. I was considering gigging on Fiverr and Upwork. Is there still a chance to get into it before those places get affected by clients turning to the ai instead of paying humans? Will copy and scripts that invoke emotions and make the prospect fall in love with our products always be a human's domain? And what about articles that involve deeply human storytelling? I mean, I'm confident, but a little scared too, since, again, I'm a beginner. Can I still get started by pitching and posting and mailing?. Please reply when you find the time!

Hi, the part that was missing for me is how do I get eyeballs on my lead magnet? I don't have their emails (obviously) so how do I get my target customer's to see my awesome giveaway & sign up?
Love it! but I feel like number 1 (solve step1), 3(give the what), & 4(sample) for creating desire are very similar, maybe even the same thing for 1 & 3. What are the differences?
They are different! So solve step 1 would be particularly useful if you teach people a framework and X-step process. Give them the first step to show value. Give the what is more like these RU-vid videos, I tell you EVERYTHING on what to do (note, I'm not holding back any steps or info) but I'm not telling you HOW to do it, to learn the HOW from me you need to take a course. Do that make sense?
In my opinion it should be someone that you actually know and look up to! It doesn't have to be some great big guru. Connect with successful people, get to know them, make the relationship mutually beneficial.
Not sure i understand, isn't a lead magnet a free sample of what you have to offer? so im not sure how giving a free sample creates desire for a free sample you are already giving away, not very concise
Hey! A free sample is a type of lead magnet that can be used to create desire for more. For example, this works really well for businesses in e-commerce when they offer a free trial-sized product to create the desire for the customer to come back and purchase the full size. Like mentioned in the video, a lead magnet provides useful, but incomplete information -- a sample can still be useful, but incomplete.
