What are the three dumbest mistakes people make in their own signature? Find out in this short 5 minute video from Handwriting Expert Bart Baggett #signature #bartbaggett #handwritinganalysis #forgery #forgedsignatures
A signature is the way someone writes their name. If its unreadable, then it doesnt matter. If it was perfectly clear and readable, it wouldnt be unique to you.
You know you don’t have to use your full name right? You can literally sign as “daddy koda” and it’s legally valid, so shorten your name and sign with that
Let's agree to disagree. My signature is fast, illegible, has what you call a "camouflage" trait, fun to write, and I've only gotten compliments about it. I get nothing but praise about my professionalism, trustworthy, and friendliness. I've been promoted at every company I've worked for, was in management and a leadership program. I think you should be confident and have confident signature. These "mistakes" count for nothing compared to that. Calling them "dumb" or "stupid" just reflects poorly on you, Bart.
I guess that depends on whether you are trying to get compliments from your friends or trying to avoid a $30,000 legal fee because someone forged your signature. I think solid legal advice does not reflect poorly on me. But, I do appreciate the comments. Comments increase the engagement and please keep them coming.
May I ask, what if for example, I put my signature on the wrong place. For example it should be beside but I signed it below. How do I correct a mistake in my signatures?
You cross it out. Initial it, and sign it in the right place... at the time of the first signing. If you do it days later, you could be accused of altering a document.
Dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's are all diseases that affect handwriting in the later stages. There is a ton of documentation on Parkinson's and accepted as an early indicator of the disease. There is less research and papers on the other two.
"Secretary of Treasurer" You mean the "Secretary of the Treasury". They're not elected. They're appointed and confirmed. And, yes, that signature is a little bit ridiculous!
yes that's like the only rule about them even if its just a squiggle, it makes it harder to forge. since everyone's handwriting is different, if your signature is consistent with you its gonna be easier to pick out a changes in it if someone else is trying to use your name for stuff. plus it will be easier to prove in court and stuff if someone is forging your signature
