Question! Danaher mentioned that the knee on the shoulder is vital to keeping the head of the opponent low, yet when he goes for the breaking mechanic he will take his knee off to move his hip away from the opponent's hip. Does that cause an opportunity for the opponent to raise his head again, or is it too late at that time? And regarding the same submission: during the initial falling to his side whilst controlling the arm, is there any chance of the opponent pushing your knee in between his legs and slowly working his way up? (in this case: on Danaher's left side).

Gordon Ryan vs. anyone. Watched his more recent matches first and then went back and watched his older matches, was really educational to see the changes he made. Appears he had stopped trying to force submissions (which made him vulnerable) and simply patiently waited for his opponent to make a mistake, then he would pounce.
