3. Supreme peace comes from self discovery (Middle East) 

This part of TRE's development happened in the Middle East. I lived in Egypt, Northern Yemen, and Lebanon. In Lebanon, I experienced war for the first time. It is here that I experienced body tremors from terror and impulsive reactions into the fetal response. These experiences would later inform the development of TRE.
