Dealing with pelvic organ prolapse can be overwhelming, but there are steps you can take to manage and even improve your symptoms. In this video, I'll share three critical mistakes to avoid that could worsen prolapse, and how to adjust your daily habits for better pelvic health.
As a women's health physical therapist, I've worked with numerous women experiencing prolapse, and I've seen how small changes can make a big difference. Understanding your pelvic floor and its role in supporting your pelvic organs is key. Avoiding heavy lifting, high-impact exercises, and managing chronic constipation are crucial steps in managing prolapse.
By making these adjustments and seeking guidance from a pelvic floor therapist, you can take control of your symptoms and improve your quality of life. Don't let prolapse dictate your life; start making these changes today for a healthier tomorrow.

Well I have bladder, cervix and uterus prolapse as well as stage 1 rectocele. I which I had known this a long time ago, but doctors never talked about this until my bladder had fallen. Also have low back pain caused by a bulging disc maybe exacerbated by pelvic issues. I've done pelvic help therapy and currently wearing a pressary. Thoughts please.
