I find it crazy that medication that's supposed help you have crazy side effects. I already have this crap with anxiety. Don't need meds to make things worse.
@@debbietaylor20It should, but everyone is different. It isn't a one size fits all medication (like most psychiatric medications). Always check up with your provider to see which works best for you, it's usually trial and error.
Hope it works, got prescribed for anxiety and panic attacks, but have extremely bad insomnia. So sleepyness would be an extremely welcome side effect. Wish me luck.❤
I was taken off clonazepam a bit over a year ago and replaced it with buspirone...ive felt like shit ever since. They refuse to give me any benzos, only buspirone or a anti depressant.
I've had severe anxiety for over 10 years now and I took clonazepam short-term years ago. It worked well but myself and my doctor only wanted me on it temporarily. They are a dangerous form of drugs that you can get addicted to and its very tough to withdraw from them. Other meds I've been on don't work as well but you not being on them may be a good thing in the long term; unless you plan on taking them for the rest of your life.
Took clonipin for 7 years, stopped about a year ago after a looong taper. I felt aweeeful. Anxiety off the charts, pains all over, stomach upset and bloating, and had a bunch of new allergies crop up. ALOT of these things are gone after a year. I just started Buspar and I feel nothing from it personally. The effects of coming off benzos are so aweful. Get on a forum for it, get yourself someone you can talk about these effects and ask questions about it to. Good luck!
Been clean off benzos for 18 months now. Yes it was pure hell to get off. Yes my anxiety is still sky high. All benzos were was a bandaid. Going to pick up my buspar today. Wish me luck
definitely the best for treating my anxiety long term, been on it for almost a year and the first time i tried taking it the effectiveness wasn’t as great with me being used to taking daily ativan
@@danielnekrash6771 not terribly? but if my anxiety or ability to maintain my emotions is a lot better then it’ll make me a bit more sedated. not inebriated like i can’t drive but a little extra sedated in the head.
Very nervous to start this medication, got it prescribed to me while i try to taper of benzos for a year. Wasnt abusing the benzos, but ive had them for so long that my body got dependent on them. So realpy nervous to start this new medication
same experience. was given to me while trying to come off xanax. same as you, i wasnt abusing the xanax or taking a lot of it, i was just on it for so long that the rebound anxiety was bad. busbar definitely helped. give it a try. worst thing that happens is its just not for you.
I was just prescribed this medication yesterday I've been on a benzo Klonopin for 16 months My psychiatrist put me on the buspirone for my anxiety also how is it working for you did you get off the benzo did it help you with that
@@PattyMaldonado-ob5rqYup. I completely came off xanax with the buspirone. I eventually came off the buspirone with no problems either. Tapered off of it. How much of the Klonopin were you taking daily and do you know how many mg's the buspirone is? I think i was on 15 mg 3 times a day in the beginning.
I have difficulty climaxing while standing up/holding my breath. I also struggle with physical symptoms of anxiety like sweating, blushing, shaking, pounding heartbeat, etc, is this good for that?
@@ScottDo-er3vh thank you for the advice, I’ve been using 20mg of propranolol and that seems to help a good amount, might do more, I’d do some research and see if it’s for you, it takes a few weeks to kick in but be persistent

@@Bls-of1ld I take Benz only thing that works. Very few dr will pres them. They all use to pres them also pain pills w/codeine. Can't get nothing anymore. I fill like I'm asking 4 heroin..
