Added half the amount of rice back to my diet to help my hair recover. Fingers crossed I get my full locks back. @isdeirinnme
@isdeirinnme 8 месяцев назад
You can do all these tips but you have to be mindful of the ingredients. Some oils won’t be absorbed by low porosity hair because the fats (lipid chains) are too big to get under the hair cuticles which means they’ll sit on top making hair heavy, while added proteins can make hair brittle and dry. Some ingredients to avoid: coconut and castor oils, silk/soy/rice protein, keratin, amino acids, biotin, hydrolyzed collagen, and silicones except as a finishing product (look for ingredients ending in -one or -on generally). Things that do best in our hair though: lightweight oils such as argan, almond, jojoba, grapeseed, and mongongo; or skip oils and use water-based products; humectants draw in moisture like glycerine, ginger, agave, and aloe; add products in the right order (Liquid, Cream, Oil); and use a little heat to open up the cuticles but don’t fry your hair (steam is great and moderate heat with a dryer). Some products made for curls can work for straight hair if they are specifically made for low porosity hair. Finally, be aware of the types of silicone: 1. water-soluble, 2. non-water-soluble, and 3. evaporating. 1 & 3 are great for low porosity hair because they give the benefits of silicone without the build up. Look for PEG …-cone (such as dimethicone) (1) and cyclopentasiloxane (3), but avoid straight (non-PEG) dimethicone and cyclomethicone (2). Using the wrong kinds of silicone for your hair can lead to dryness due to blocking out moisturizing products and dullness due to product build up.

I do this routine(but different products) and let me tell you, yes it helps promote healthy hair growth. This is coming from someone who ruined their hair with bleach, heat and then hair botox treatment. And no, it's not time consuming at all. Keeping it simple helped so much. Just these 3 steps are enough(I don't heat style regularly or do so very very rarely but the days I do I don't notice any damage and stuff at all).

Don't forget to emulsify your mask or conditioner. Before applying your mask or conditioner squeeze as much water as you can out of your hair. Then apply your product and add some water - work with your hands until you get a foamy lotion like consistency. With your hands work it through for a minute or two and yes, do the squishing like this girl does.

After seeing a lot of you need to be rich, you need to be genetically blessed comments- genetics is nothing without maintenance. We all have to take care of what he have & make the most of what we got. 2) you don’t need to buy special, expensive products & you don’t need to do all this shown, this often. My hair would be a mess if I did all this. This is what work for her hair. Take the inspiration & tips that will work for you. You can use oil from the kitchen. I use grape-seed. Some ppl like coconut or olive oil, depending. You can use your regular conditioner to squish to condish. Also, brush your hair thoroughly with a stiff bristle brush once a day. I do twice a day, the 2nd time being at night, then put my hair in a satin bonnet instead of oiling every night. This distributes your own natural hair oils. Your hair will be shiny & smooth in the morning & you won’t have face break outs from oil & product. Hope this helps some of you overwhelmed with the products shown out on a budget… it just not wanting to use complicated chemical concoctions 🙂

I have the same type of hair. For us, her methods for the sculp won't work, because we already got an oily sculp and not a dry one. But u still can do massages with oil for your sculp if u got a day off and much free time, but don't do it twice a week xd. Tbh, i don't do it ever, i just concentrate on my mids and ends. U can do for those parts as she said in her video, but i recommend light products for our thin hair. Hair Mask once a week by moroccanoil weightless hydration, leave-in by pureology 21 and oil for my mid and ends by olaplex are my products and it works awesome :3 redken shampoo and conditioners work for me the best too, love the smell and u can try out what works best for u. They got different ones for all type of hair 😊😌

I recommend scalp massage & oil into hair for an hour before you wash.

@@gillypiexo bruh xd who got the time lmao and its been proven to not really help more, if u do it so long. Like 5 mins are enough for the good feeling. Don't expect to grow hair like crazy, some people are to delusional haha xd

If you still massage your scalp, without oil, it stimulates it & your hair follicles; it's great for hair growth, etc. The squish is good for conditioner, too, so do that on wash day as well.

I also have low porosity hair. I see that people say not to use a hair mask is that true?? What hair type do you have?

Do use a mask especially a hydrating one. I have low porosity hair and I didn’t use mask before but once I started I never went back. Leaves your hair bouncy if it’s type 4 hair which mine is and soft and hydrated. I use the sunny isle one it smells so good😊

You may need to use heat to allow the mask to penetrate your hair more effectively. You can wrap your hair in a plastic bag or use a heating cap.

Conditioner doesn’t do that unless it has ingredients that are proven and tested to go into the cuticle . Not every hair mask will do this you have to find one that specifically does, which is usually products for damaged hair which alsooooo not every product that claims to do this does it because they don’t have ingredients that do.

@@animestargalaxy1016 redkin acidic bond concentrate . A cheaper version would be L’Oréal bond repair (they are both made by the same company). Amika the Kure repair hair mask. Living proof leave in damage repair and k18 pre treatment

Beautiful healthy hair. My hair was sooo much more healthier until I bleached it blonde. Ugh, I do hair masks, leave in conditioners, etc as well but I need to do like a professional deep cleaning condition.

I would also try cutting it and then trimming it regularly, this will make it much stronger and healthier.

You can use oils out of your kitchen- olive oil, coconut oil, I use grape seed- whatever works best for your hair. You don’t need to do this much this often & you don’t need to buy expensive product.

A little bit...but as my dadi says dandruff is none other but the dead skins of our scalp...so dear if you want to get rid of dandruff keep your body hydrated like drinking water atleast 4L, eating juicy fruits or drink any juice and take care of your scalp....bcz in winter our body become dry and especially our scalp....it helps me a lot in winter😊thank you❤

Use lemon juice + oil keep for 4 hrs...wash then. With 2-3 washes dandruff will go away completely. To keep ur scalp dandruff free do oiling 2 times a week and wash ur hair 2 times a week...stay hydrated !

Hi, biologist here. No, oiling your scalp will not help it grow faster. That's not true at all. What it does do is moisturize and strengthen the hair shaft, reducing breakage.
