I had a dream like that when I was in my teens. I was standing in the back yard talking to family during a get-together when all of a sudden I was flying up to the sky. This dream occurred long before I'd studied Revelations or any other prophesy. I find it interesting that such a dream has remained in my memory for so many years.

according to scripture, the wrath of God is not the same as tribulation. in joel, the wrath of God occurs after the sun and moon being darkened . jesus said in matthew, the sun and moon will be darkened after the tribulation. so tribulation and the wrath of God is not the same.

The scriptures are VERY CLEAR telling us that the tribulation is the releasing of the first 7 seals... JESUS explains all of this in Matt 24! He even tells us when we'll be gathered together to Him, Matt 24:29-31 "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days..." THEN Matt 24: 31 And he will send His angels with a sound of a trumpet and they will GATHER TOGETHER His elect..." Jesus teaches NOTHING about him gathering together his elect more than this ONE TIME! I believe Jesus knows what He's talking about. I pray that these people would stop twisting scriptures and piecing them together to get them to say what they want to hear. The scriptures were written for common, mainly uneducated man. I would suggest is to do a deep study of all of the interpretations without any bias. IF you were to do so it could challenge your current perspective. If you read my previous comment, I would challenge you as to why the other 7 interpretations are all wrong (with details as to why the other 7 are wrong). Afterall, there will only be one correct interpretation in the end. Your hope shouldn't be taken away even if the rapture is mid or post. Still would be great to be raptured in any case and we can't arrive at our positions because one position feels better than the other. Biblically speaking, the tribulation is not God's wrath. It is Satan's wrath as you can see the antichrist come out in the 1st seal. So the premise in which this position was built in this video is incorrect - I hope the following makes sense to you... My full comment: I'm sorry for this folks. With all due respect, the first premise stated "The tribulation is God's wrath" is Biblically incorrect and therefore everything that followed is incorrect. Revelation 6 ends with "the great Day of God's wrath is come" and this is after the seals had been opened and played out. You will see martyrdom in the 5th seal. The wrath of God starts after the seals because the Bible says so at the end of Revelation 6. We are indeed not appointed to God's wrath but His wrath does not start until after the seals, and we are raptured when the sun, moon, and stars go dark. During the time of the seals is the tribulation period and is Satan's wrath let loose for a time. Jesus opens the scroll and merely kicks off the seals as if to kick off the "end times" at the appointed time. The seals are Satan being let loose and the horrible things man does to the earth with Satan at the wheel. See in the 1st seal how the rider on the white horse (antichrist) comes out and then all these terrible things like war and famine follow. Once again there is persecution of the saints in the 5th seal. You will see the persecuted saints that were martyred during the 5th seal again in Revelation 7. At the very end of Revelation 6 and in Matthew 24 you will see the sun, moon, stars go dark and on that day and at that time the rapture and the wrath of God clearly happen simultaneously. After the seals of Revelation 6 which includes the persecution of the saints, you will see that the wrath of God is poured out in the 7 trumpets and 7 bowls. The tribulation period is for us - "In this world you will have tribulation" and you can see in Daniel that the antichrist prevails against the saints for 42 months. The pre-trib rapture theory is wishful thinking and I wish it was Biblically true. I would prefer it indeed but it is built on misleading and inaccurate premises. There is a 7 year (prophetic week) covenant that will be made and halfway through the 7 year covenant (3 1/2 years) the tribulation will start. So there isn't such thing as a Biblical 7 year tribulation either. It's a 7 year covenant. The Pastor was right in his first words..."You can't believe in a pre-trib rapture unless you are taught it" and incorrect inferences are used as premises to build off of.

@@ChildofAbrahambyFaith Hi Molly, I call it the Biblical view :o), but yes, it would be considered "Pre-wrath." Any view makes more Biblical sense than the "Pre-trib" view. I love that you are taking an interest in this. Everyone should study it themself instead of just believing a sermon about it built on unsupported premises. I think what bothers me the most is that people teach the "Pre-trib" position as if it was difinitive truth that is clearly stated in the Bible. That bugs me. You can't have the "Pre-trib" position without inferences and therefore I believe it shouldn't be taught as if the Bible clearly states who "he who hinders" is, etc. Matthew 24 clearly states "after the tribulation of those days" there is a gathering and it is ASSUMES "the elect" here are only the Jews. There are several other assumptions that the "Pre-trib" position is built on that would take forever to explain here. The antichrist does prevail against the tribulation saints, but scripture tells us clearly hell will never prevail against the church.

There will indeed be a pre trib rapture. Eschatology points to this, but more importantly, acts 2:17 is now reality, it's happening. There are thousands of accounts of the ramping up of dreams about the rapture and tribulation. From kids in south Africa to old men in Taiwan, they are all very similar, and even little kids like 4-6 yrs old are having these dreams and are from Families that have never taught their kids anything about the Bible or Jesus. So it's totally impossible for people around the world to be on some conspiracy to report the same dreams. If you can't see that God is indeed warning the church, that's each man's decision. But even the people who have had NDEs, they all mostly day the same things. Jesus has told many who have died on the operating room table that the tribulation is not for them. The way inot heaven will be by blood. Either Jesus blood or, after the rapture, your own blood when forced to choose between taking the mark of getting your head cut off. God has been speaking through these hundreds of thousands of rapture dreams. Acts 2:17 is real, and fir any man to say what God will or will not do is foolishness. One thing I've learned is to NEVER ever put God in a box. I've had friends try to argue with me over these peoples dream testimonials that are coming in from everywhere, saying that God doesn't speak to mamanymore, the closed cannon argument, but they don't have anything to say about acts. God gave very little to go on as far as rapture goes, for reason. I believe He is looking for the faithful who believe in what he said in revelation, about keeping us from the hour of testing. If I were you, I'd take it to the lord with prayer and fasting. But the reports of these dreams and visions are there and they are growing. The Lord is coming to take his bride. The ones left will have to be martyred to gain entrance to the kingdom. The ones walking close to Jesus will be taken out before the real destruction and persecution starts. Do your research of these dreams and ask the Lord to let you know how to look at this. The Lord is faithful. He has told many people he doesn't want his children to go through it, but the lukewarm ones will not be taken out. God bless.

Rapture is the Latin to English translation from the original Greek "harpazo", or to be caught up, snatched. It is in Jerome's Latin Vulgate translation of the Bible in 405AD.

I used to not believe in pre-trib rapture but was led by the Holy Spirit to the Watchman River channel. I do believe in pre-trib rapture but if it doesn't happen I pray for strength for all of us believers and the lost. God bless you as we wait to meet Jesus in the clouds 🤗

You seem to think those who never heard the gospel will still have a chance to be saved. The reason you think this is because it seems unfair that you had the chance to be saved and they did not, and God would be unfair to just send them all to hell. But you have forgotten a very important point. Even if you never had the chance to hear the gospel, you are guilty of sin and deserve hell, God would be just to send you to hell. All have sinned. You must start there. Those who never heard the gospel , if they perish God is just and rightous to punish them for their sins. And if God decided to save you He is just and rightous to do so. Why must those who never heard the gospel have the opertunity to be saved when they are guilty, and why is ot wrong for God to let you be saved and not them? You mentioned no one being under God's wrath anymore. Well the attributes of God require He be angry at sinners. A just and holy God who loves ppl must be angry at ppl who kill other ppl. A just God must uphold His laws. His laws demand that the one who sins must die. It pleased God to crush His Son. He poured put His wrath on Him. All those who reject His Son still abide under His wrath. Chrust stood in their place, if you reject Him you reject God's offer to not punish you with His wrath, you will take what Christ took, God's wrath for you do not accept his sacrifice. Look at it this way. You commit a crime. You stand b4 the judge who says you pay a fine of 1 billion dollars or life in prison. You don't have the money. If the judge is good, he will not let you go. He MUST satisfy the demands of the law and punish you with life on prison. Then I stand up and say " your honor I have the money, I will pay your fine". The judge can now legally let you go free, because I paid the demand of the law, I paid your fine. Now, if you turn to the judge and say, NO, and you reject my payment for your fine, you do not allow me to pay on your behalf, can the judge allow you to go free or will you have to pay the fine and go to prison for life? If you reject my payment for your crime then the law demands you must. God's wrath abides on all ppl. Then His Son satisfied the demands of the law when He took God's wrath on the cross . If a person rejects Christ's payment, then all of what He took will abide on the one who rejects Him, including God's wrath. They must satisfy the demands of the law for they have no payment for their sins through the cross. For them it is as if Christ never suffered, died, or took on God's wrath. God's pardon was rejected so they will pay on full.

That's what really stuck out to me, too. I always believed in pre-trib because we'll never suffer God's wrath, but those points really make it hard to see it any other way! Even the "we'll be like Daniel in the lion's den" argument can't disagree with that point!

I used to believe in escapism rapture until I read scripture for myself.

Pre-Trib Rapture is a False Teaching that has many Christians Deceived. Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 13 Parable of the Wheat and the Tares and the Correct Order in which HE will Harvest the Earth. In fact the Tares are gathered up FIRST and NOT the Wheat. I do not want to be the first group gathered up [The Tares ] but the latter group called the WHEAT.

There is no proof of a Pretribulation Rapture, just like the other 7 interpretations say of what point the rapture will take place. One huge thread with all 8 interpretations is this; anyone who believes in 1 of the 8 interpretations will all claim the very same thing, by quoting various passages, scripture and quote the Book of Revelation, all 8 interpretations, and somehow all 8 claim that their interpretation is the correct one. This is the real truth. We will know when the rapture takes place when it happens. Period. I have studied all 8 interpretations over twenty-two years with an open mind without bias, some of those interpretations seems to make a lot of sense but in the end, it is "not" crystal clear. There is no such thing as a rapture. If there were, it would be clearly stated in Mark 13, Revelation, and Matthew 24 where God tells us how the end times will happen and there is no mention of any rapture. In fact, the Rapture is refuted Isaiah 52:12 and Ezekiel 13:20.

we are to ask ourselves as individuals whether there are any verses or passages throughout the Bible that truly say of themselves (without added ideas or meanings) that 'believers will be raptured before the tribulation' we are to carefully consider why it is that there are no verses or passages that say these things, why these things are not said in the Bible is it wiser for believers to believe what is said, or what is not said, even as what is not said guides believers to expect and anticipate the opposite of what is said we can see that some angels suggested a gathering before the tribulation, but from the explanation that follows we are to understand when the gathering is said to occur, and also, when the gathering is not said to occur (so that we can try to avoid being disorientated by confusing ideas, Matthew 13:29 - 30)

I feel sorry for those who have magical thinking of pre-trib rapture imposed from beliefs that came up in the 1800s. Christians have been murdered and massacred throughout existence and we will go through it during the tribulation, but come out victorious at the end when Jesus returns.
