Everytime I think I'm over it it hits me like a ton of bricks. Ten months on, it's still killing me deep down. I will miss him forever. I will work towards being a better woman so this wasn't all in vain, so I don't make the same mistakes. He's my biggest lesson in love so far. So sad... :(

Thanks so much ladies. I'm in bits, can't stop crying tonight. It's good to get it all out though. Looked at the scrapbook he made me, smiled over it, appreciated what we had, but deep down I know it wasn't right for us to continue. I so badly wanted it to be, but I guess he was right, I was in love with the potential... We had so much potential, but the trauma and depression and life was too much for us to bear. I couldn't cope with his baggage anymore, it was crippling me. That's life.

That’s how I feel about my ex - shit sucks. I’m a strong fucking dude who can let go of shit easily but for some reason it’s tough for me to shake this one. 6 months in I was doing great then boom out of no where started to miss her. I’m doing great regardless but I do miss her for some reason; and crazy thing is, I don’t even know what I miss.

You will fail if: 1. Emotional connection between you guys are getting worse. Stop doing that if anything you so cause deterioration of the emotional connection. 2. You are out of alignment with your goal in relationship. For example, you want a secure relationship but yourself is being insecure. You need to be aligned with your goals before convincing others. Tips: be composed. Accept the current situation but also put in the efforts to work things out. 4. Ex is out of alignment with the relationship you want. There's some acceptance needed from both party. Communication find the intersecting common point among people .because common thing bring people together closer. 5.

I'm so loyal and heart focussed, I need to learn more about what is RIGHT for me and what I truly need. Coming from a severe lack love in childhood makes it very hard because all you want is love...but I'm learning how to give myself that love!!! And I get it from God now as well. And that's all I need. No longer chasing love, feels great.

I love your content Clay... But I don't really understand your approach on no contact. It makes sense the emotional connection needs to build up but AFTER they experience the loss and the consequences of breaking up. I kept talking to her while her being in a rebound (which she lied and left for) and although we were connecting, she was still confused and I was hurting over her confusion. I actually feel better by doing no contact and makes sense she MUST miss me when SHE was the one that screwed up by lying and leaving...

I’m not really seeing more but there is little progress. We hooked up last Friday and I don’t wanna say I regret it but he left immediately afterwards. He seems very cold and aloof. We were together for 5 years. There’s little talk and I pulled back this week after the texting became very one word responses and not responding for hours and hours on end. He’s not an emotional person period either. Very avoidant person. It sucks. I did betray his trust by hanging with another guy after years and years of neglect and he left after finding that out. So I’m sure he feels anger and betrayal.

I can see why he doesn’t want to. For one, men hold loyalty and integrity higher than physical beauty. So your lack of loyalty is a major turn off. Also, adding “because of neglect” you are inadvertently making excuses for emotional cheating. The fact of the matter is if you’re unhappy in a relationship and you are communicating your needs in a healthy way, you should leave that relationship. Period.

Hey clay, So my ex and I were together for a month and a half. Short time, I know. It was actually the longest (and only “real”) relationship she’s had. But a few days ago she broke up with me. Everything was going amazing and it was the most effortless and wonderful relationship I’ve ever had. She said that she has been feeling unhappy lately and that she doesn’t know why. She’s scared of commitment due to childhood trauma, and has also dealt with depression for a long time and takes medication. She said that she never lied to me about her feelings for me, and I know she loves me. She’s incredibly hard headed as well. We left things off on a good note, but I’m not sure what to do now. It’s been a couple days since we had that last talk. I also see that she’s been listening to some pretty sad music. Any advice? What stage do you think she might be at? Thanks for your time

My ex fiance...he just dumped me April 1 ....thinks the relationship is one sided but I feel he has the wrong idea about relationships. He thinks it had to do with paying for dinner buying gifts...for me it's about being available emotionally and having respect. He paid for dinner and bought me presents on Valentines day or birthdays no matter if we had a bad fight...but to be honest I was less forgiving about name calling or if he hurt my feelings...I wouldn't feel it was in my best interest to reward bad behavior. And also I dont think it's right to keep tabs about who is paying for this or that.

Every guys we date is different .some may need more attention than the others . Those being independent . Be happy with urself. Don't help at all .in fact it is probably because I am too independent that causes me to lose him . Cuz be feels neglected . Unloved . Whatever maybe love is hard . The chance of getting back together will always be there. Our chances in getting our ex back together will depend on the actions that we would take and refuse to do. In relationships and in the process of getting our ex back, there is totally no right and wrong. But it is how we approach things that will matters most.

I lived paycheck to paycheck. 2 full time jobs. Honestly, I wish I had not done that. She never sooke to one sister again and has recently ended things with the other. They were both rotten though anyhow.

Your content really helped, I would watch and absorb your videos as well as other relationship coaches but in the end nothing was going to save the marriage, the entire 9 months of separation prior to our divorce she didn’t try or express how she felt about me, she was cold, no emotion. It was all me, and every thing I did nice she would match something negative to it. Maybe it’s better off this way

Sure you had some good times but ultimately they wanted you gone. it might have been the best thing that ever happened to you both.......sure you may never love again but at least you tasted it and in reality it had its good and bad side . Were still talking everyday n night and were close n good friends , were still doing little flirt n teasing each other n winding each other up. But were able talk about what happened to us n he still misses stuff on what we had . But he thinks its best not too. Cause I made up some silly stuff n made him almost got into trouble n made him almost lose his job . But that was 2018. And we only had break from each other for 6months an he reconnected with me .
