Having short legs with large calves, fit and flare jeans worn with heels are a game-changer for me! Totally makes me look taller and slimmer and my calves don’t feel like they are in a sausage casing!

This one has solid info (as all of yours do), but you seem much more reserved rather than the joyful you of today! Finally found 100% cotton ones. This was a mission impossible. Took a lot of thrifting. Even the length was spot on. I was probably time-warped from the seventies, when they did not knew you could mess up denim fabric with elasthane.
Girl, I still have flare bottom jeans that I wore the FIRST time (in my lifetime) that they were in style. Lol! Just found a box in my attic with with at least 10 pair! They're slightly less flared than the ones you're showing, but they're definitely not boot cut or skinny. However, I'm with you...I'm kinda partial to skinny jeans. For now anyway. 😉💕

I'm 5'10 and 115 lbs so I LOVE bootcut jeans because it allows me to look curvy! The Audrey bootcut jeans by BKE are my favorite. I get them from Buckle and I can choose the length to be extra long to go over my cowgirl boots 😊

I get the look and I think it's awesome, though I think you look you have to adjust them during the day all the time. Are these looks for 10 mins to take pics and to look cool or are they actually the ones you can move in and be confident without having the struggle? Just a question tbh
This is a great video and I would wear all of these looks - especially like the cashmere sweater wrap in look #3. Boot / Flare jeans in both dark wash and white are on my shopping list. I am 5’7” curvy plus size 16 with chunky legs.

Erin, looking lovely as always! Love these ideas. One concern though: if you keep the jeans to dust the floor with shoes on, then the issue is when you have the shoes/boots off at home, you look silly! Tripping constantly. What do you think?

I sewed in a flare into the seam of my jeans for Halloween for my Hippie costume at church and everyone loved it! I'm thinking about making a pair for my actual wardrobe. I love the way you styled these looks! I would wear any of these outfits! I remember when the straight legs were first coming into style in the early eighties and I swore I wouldn't be caught dead in them. LOL! Hi Erin, do the 7jeans have a higher rise? My experience with them are that they sit a bit lower on the waist but they look higher on you in the video.

Omg, these are my favorite style of jeans. I have the body type of a 12 year old boy, so I love the curves they give me.... I have about 30 pairs of these in J brand, Seven, and Free People as well!!! My absolute favorite of all your looks, hands down.
Hi Erin, what’s the guidance on tailoring flares to wear with flat shoes? I’ve got my heels pair but I’d like some to run around doing errands in but I’m 5ft 2!
Can you give some advice on styling what I call the super flare in a more casual way? Think ellery super flares. Alaia sold a super flare Jean. Awesome look but I’m trying to find excuses to wear them more.
The main thing you will want to remember is to opt for a more fitted top when wearing the super-flare jeans. You can wear any sort of elevated tee and platform sneaker for a casual, pulled together look. Here's an idea of this for you! liketk.it/4ab0u
Would these same style tips apply for the wide leg pants that are wide from thigh to ankle? (So not hugging the thigh like in your video). I have a lot of wide straight leg pants (mostly non jean basics) and not sure if I should even be wearing them or have them taken in in the thigh to reduce volume.

The flare leg is probably my best look, but the length and heel height is so absolutely critical that I tend to lean more toward a skinny or crop. Also, I learned that for travel one can't beat "skinny". Makes potty stops in less than pristine conditions so much more bearable.
I was happy to see the poncho idea. I have a question though. How does one wear a poncho with a cross body bag? Or is a cross body bag simply wrong with a poncho? I can never seem to get a look that makes me happy with that combination.
Hahaha you are right... When that happen to me when I am wearing trouser kissing the floor...Before I open the restroom door already one hand is pulling up my trouser... to avoid touching the restroom floor.
I love my skinny jean uniform but sometimes I get bored of it too so thanks for this video! I'm thin, short torso (despise high waist jeans-they often go drop-crotch on me), long legged and struggle with finding a good silhouette. I love my flared jeans! I was so sad when they kind of went away for awhile. Whenever i do break mine out i always get compliments. I’m short 5’1” and have a short torso, but i feel like the flares really accentuate my long legs since i have always worn mine this way - with high heels and covering my shoe so they touch the floor. My husband always jokes that i spend a lot on pretty shoes that I’m just covering up with my jeans 😂

Love the video! Love flares! Although I own several pair from my other life, haha, life before skinny jeans, I did buy a pair at the end of summer by Topshop in Nordstrom. They are awesome. White House Black Market used to make good flares. If anybody is going to look into it, they vanity size like crazy. Their denim is fantastic.
Great video. I always wonder why no one ever mentions zipper length in getting a good fit with jeans. A shorter zipper is so much more flattering than a long one that may make one look bulky in an area most women do not want extra (ahem) fullness.
at 5'11" hourglass body....I love high waist wide leg jeans and pants but find I have to pair them with heels to get the best effect. Skinnies I pair with flats and boots and longer, oversized tops or sweaters to avoid feeling like a sausage in tight casing lol
