I ___________________ agree to explore the process of getting to know you with the intent to declare something serious in the next 3 to 6 months.
I ___________________ agree to be monogamous sexually while we have regular sex together.
I ___________________ agree to not actively seek to meet/date others while we are in this dating process (including taking down dating profiles)
I ___________________ agree to speak up if this isn't working for me vs. pulling back, ghosting, or disappearing.
I __________________ agree to invest regular time in this process of getting to know you, which looks like this ______________
90% of men will bail on this because thousands of women will have sex without any commitment/agreement whatsoever. If all women are banned together (from now on), this will change how men treat/view sex, but in the meantime, if he does agree, you have a better chance of commitment than without it. I used to get so upset with a guy I previously dated for not going beyond meeting with me only to spend time talking and having sex and not care about introducing me to his family and friends or wanting to meet mine. I lacked self worth at that time to have seen him for a few years with our relationship being this way. Now thru self help in loving myself I won't accept this from a man unless I felt the same way in wanting only a casual relationship. Honestly I don't think I'm even ready myself to be in a serious relationship and that's Ok. I would rather be at peace within myself than being upset with a man for not wanting to get to know me more. I'm sending you much positive vibes lady in your search for true love as well. :)

Yes, without good conflict resolution skills a relationship will not survive. Some people intentionally pick fights to alienate their partner. This is a psych trick but does not show maturity for adult couples.

This definitely resonates with me. We have been close friends for several years, spent hours sharing stories about our lives and families. We have laughed and cried together many times. He has said he wants to know everything about me to learn how I became who I am, an extraordinary person who has broken down his walls, and that my parents did a great job raising me. He also has been my hero and proven many times that he loves and cares very deeply for me. Thanks for the wonderful advice about self love and for ways of sharing intimacy on a deeper level.

You nailed it regarding shaky ground. I’m post 2yrs divorce. I’ve put in a lot and worked on myself during this time. I recently dated a guy who’s going through a few things. His whole life is a mess right now. He had expressed how he cares, but I politely walked away. I didn’t want to be that one lingering in shadows of his background. I think he desires and wants a relationship, but like you said, he just isn’t capable of doing that right now. I truly believe we will cross paths again ❤ Thank you

I appreciate your recent videos on how to vet men. You are giving some very good teachings which already has helped me make a better decision and realize that it was lust that me and another person were feeling and before sleeping with him, I sent the dating vows. He said he couldn’t commit to those. That was hard to hear…. but, makes it easier for me to walk away and keep heart from getting hurt and wasting time on the wrong person for me. I feel sad for the next woman he gets involved with who does not recognize the love bombing and how his words can give that he will commit to her.

Could you talk a bit more about men and socia media if possible?. Mine looks at my posts but doesn't interact with them but he does interact with that of other women. I want to understand this behavior. He is a caring gentle person and cares about people. But I have the feeling he is attracted to broken women and I'm fairly mentally healthy and emotionally mature.

He interacts with you in person, there is no need to do so online. Is there something wrong with reaching out to hurt or broken people to give encouragement? He is, as you say, a gentle and caring person. Be content with what you have found and do not let your thoughts get in the way of something which has a lot of potential. You are lucky to have found a kind person who cares. Not many men have those qualities. I am not telling you what to do. Good luck.

Yes he is attracted to other women and possibly cheating on you. You are only his security blanket if he's on the media, Period. I had a very sweet man, and it flipped when he's s daughter got sick and died 2 months after my son died in an accident. He had sex with anyone he could. We were platonic house mates for 5 yrs until I found proof. Then for the next 4 yrs I stayed totally rent and utility free till I saved enough to move out. I saved 20,000 bucks. So, if he's not focused on you, and having fun with you, He doesn't care. He's totally broken and you deserve the best. Dump him.

RESONATED.ty. 1st meet later today. Long talk on phone with him last nite. NERVOUS for this man may have great potential = emotionally mature wanting a relationship. He told me of his 1st 5yr marriage then of his widowhood w/out going on and on. I told of my long term marriage BUT did not speak of 2nd 10yrs ago unknowingly to a covert narc landing me still in a very bad place!!. Not knowing ME he might red flag it. I'd have to explain a bit. Would he think I was not honest? How could someone understand how a narc is and how I could be put thru such a wringer? The man I talked to last night was curious and wanting to know about me, unlike the typical I've met thus far, and we spoke about what we both seek and like in a person. NICE man it seems so far. I hate being on edge, yet I feel a need to tell as truly is my way straight from the hip. I could make it a very brief telling but that might raise more suspicion for I've been estranged totally but not divorced for 8 yrs. not having funds to divorce , for one.
