Don't let these 3 Finnish words fool you 😲 They're just filler words 🙈
Just like in other languages, Finnish also has filler words people often use when they are talking and can't find the word they're looking for.👀
Here are those Finnish filler words you might hear:
1️⃣ öööö =ermmm
2️⃣ niinku = like
3️⃣ tavallaa = sort of
What are common filler words in your language? Let me know in the comments below⬇️

Yeah, ignore these words cuz they don't really men anything so when you speak with a finnish citizen, they do mean something, but its nothing important so just ignore them. Heres what they mean: Ööö - Uhh Niinku - Its Like Tavallaan - Kinda Like

@david2284180

I’m no expert but I think the last 2 would just be one word response to the present moment with no real meaning as she said. I recall sitting with older Finnish man drinking coffee. I didn’t know any Finnish and he didn’t know any English. Every now and then he would say “no niin” (well now) to break up the silence.
