Found this video looking for a review after seeing it appear on the Switch. This looks cool and fun. The improvements show you've put a lot of time into this game. This shows me enough to convince me to give it a try.
This is great! I really love GMS. Got the basics down following its online tutorial games over a couple days. If I was not so passionate about 3D would’ve continued using it. (Also the scripting interface is clunky compared to UE Blueprints but it does work well.) Beautiful game!
You should really change the running animation, the speed of walking is more like fast-ish walking, not the guffy running you have now. Its just the whole world is pretty realistic and cool but the walking animation is cartoony and a bit goofy
Kind of. He made the whole game except for the music and translations. I'm on of the translators and found it really impressive to see Jesse pull off the team management in such a professional way by himself
I really wanna like this game but there is so much annoying/frustrating stuff with the gameplay I’m over it after less than an hour. There’s ambiguous and then just being lazy and not explaining literally anything.
Return is an okay game at best but it's ridiculously overpriced for its lenght and gameplay. Even at 12€ for 3 hrs it's bad value, maybe 4hr if you're really thorough or bad
Buying a game from a solo dev is like buying a loaf of bread from a corner bakery rather than a chain supermarket. Yeah it's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it.
