3 Yoshi Builds to Make a FULL Team 

Thanks for making this video. The “speed Yoshi” build and the balanced build both look great. I’ve been trying to get a team that can do the passing and shooting of my charged team. This speed Yoshi build might fit the build. I also like the balanced Yoshi build with your balanced Luigi build.

Yoshi should be a speed character in Mario strikers battle league he needs he speed back because he's a speed character in every Mario sports games. But he still a great character.

I now test a team with: Defender waluigi. 20str/20speed. Yoshi: 17speed, 15 shooting 18passing Bowser: 18str,17speed 16 shooting Rosalina: 13str, 18shooting, 19 technique. Kinda like it. 15 shooting feels good enough for normal position shots.

I wonder if this variant of the "Power Forward" build could also work. Instead of the Cannon Visor and Cannon Boots, he has Trick Helmet and Trick Boots. This still results in 26 total Shooting/Technique, but both stats are more even. Shooting drops to 14, but Technique goes up to 12. This would make him better at perfect moves, accuracy and curve shots, and Hyper Strikes. However... his shots would be slower, and cross pass shots wouldn't be as effective (and it would also be harder to stun Boom Boom).

I wish they did Yoshi justice... Edit: a "better" Speed Shooter Yosh would be Cannon Visor + Turbo Pad + Bushido Sandals + Turbo Gloves

My team consists of Yoshi, Luigi, Bowser, and Daisy! Yoshi is the shooter and speed Luigi is the passer or technique Bowser is the power house Daisy is the power house and speed-ish It’s not the best team but hey it works

I don't know why they made yoshi slow when he's the speed character makes no sense. 0:43 like yeah I agree! They really messed up with the stats here and they make no sense.

Here's another variation of Balanced Yoshi I came up with. Trick Helmet Turbo Gloves Bushido Armor Trick Boots STRENGTH: 12 SPEED: 11 SHOOTING: 14 PASSING: 14 TECHNIQUE: 12 The difference between this one and the Balanced Yoshi shown in video is: -2 Speed, -1 Technique, and +3 Strength. Why the trade for +3 Strength? A specific *tackle* range. At Strength 12, Yoshi can quick tackle Strength 1-16 opponents. With a partially charged tackle, this bumps up to Strength 20 (anything higher would require a full/perfect tackle). This allows Yoshi to tackle the common *Speed Bowser* builds (usually ranges 14-18 Strength) and the popular *20 Str/21 Spd Waluigi* with either quick or partially charged tackles depending on the Strength Stat range. Having 2 of these Yoshis in both midfield positions (2 and 3) would give you all-rounders that can play both offense and defense while making plays with their good Passing stat. As the saying goes: "Jack of all trades, master of none". NOTE: I don't have the game, so I haven't actually tested it. I've been watching videos and looking into builds and stats. I'm planning on getting the game this month. If not, hopefully next month. Anything I said here is from an outsider looking in (until I finally get my hands on this game).

What about for a balanced Yoshi build Trick Helmet Turbo Gauntlets Trick Chest Bushido Sandals Only problem is he has like no strength with this set his full stats are Strength 5/25 Speed 16/25 Shooting 16/25 Passing 14/25 Technique 12/25 Personally not a big fan of seeing sets that arent fully armor would run your balanced build otherwise (idk what position fits the giant nosed dinosaur the most mid-fielder or captain) cant wait for the next builds don't care who is next

Yoshi's bipolar stat spread seems pretty terrible, because it is, but hey, people play Wario and Bowser and make *those* characters work, so why not Yoshi? Yoshi's lacking Strength means that he doesn't want to be in any sort of defensive position, so it feels like it's of paramount importance to up his Technique and Speed to better position him to make plays. With that in mind, the Trick Helmet, the Bushido Bracers, and the Trick Pad are basically mandatory for any build that wants Yoshi to be taken seriously. For the shoes it's a matter of personal preference: do you value positioning, or are you wanting a budget Rosalina? Your options are the Bushido Sandals and the Cannon Boots.

I highly suggest full speed yoshi. He has 15 everything else but tech and strength but it's perfect for shooting and passing and he is around good enough to make his AI be around more things.

0:52 I feel that way about Peach. They made her fast with just ok technique, but she's always been slow in platformers and highly technical in pretty much every other sports game. It's not even a complaint. It's just weird.

I don’t understand why Yoshi is so slow in this game. He’s basically Mario’s horse. In Mario baseball he’s a car. He can always steal second base in that game unless your opponents pitcher reads it. I dunno I think he’s a playmaker in this game and nothing more.

Dude knight gear full strength yoshi is op 20 strength 20 shooting and 15 passing anti meta monster especially running a full yoshi team with full strength yoshi it’s broken I recommend it

Finally it's time for my boi yoshi, it's sad that he has bad stats but at least he is the "balanced" character
