30 06 AP with Gruning vs .625 inch steel plate 

Just Found 2 packs of .30-.06 AP.......Just wished I didn't shoot soooo many refer's n washing machines when I was younger......be well.

Hi ladamyre: Interesting question. Isn't M80 standard 147 gr. lead core, copper jacketed cartridges? Those I have plenty of. Being this vid is fairly old I'm not sure of where my steel plate is now. I think I can find it though. For this video I was using black tip AP projectiles from WWII. These were hand loads. I still have about 5 of the black tips left. If I can find my steel plate I could pull those projectiles from the 30.06 cases and reload them into 308 cases. I have a long barrel Tikka in 308 I could use. If you notice it bent the whole steel plate. Pretty impressive. What do ya think?
