Is there an award for something like this? If not, someone should make one. This series of videos was completely enjoyable to watch and conveyed to the viewer the traveler's challenges and deep enjoyment of nature. Kudos!

Amazing videos! I loved the honesty in these - not just showing all the great things, but also the raw daily detail when one doesn't feel great or encounters challenges. This should get entered into the Banff Film Fest.

We extend our thanks DIYpackraft, major resource for us learning about all this stuff. We didn't build our own rafts but still a lot of vital information especially on heat sealing. Great series.

Note: The previous episode (day 29) is the climax of this series, where I reach the end of the island - this episode is just me hiking back to the road! For some reason twice as many people have watched this one, so I thought I should clear that up.

Thank you sooo much for sharing this absolutely fantastic journey and showing us all the beauty along the way. The scenery and wildlife were wonderful and immensely enjoyed each and every day of the 30. I have traveled similar terrain years ago although not as severe or for that distance, I know just how difficult it can be. I admire your courage (to do it solo), stamina, positivity and mountain goat like agility! lol Not only did you complete this wonderful adventure, you did it in trail runners and also filmed it! Wow! I am new to packrafting, just purchased one in September 2020 and have explored a few backcountry lakes but looking forward to doing more this year. I am so glad I stumbled across your videos and look forward to following you on some more adventures! :) :)

What an amazing trip! I also enjoyed watching these daily videos. The beginning of this video looks like Nels Bight. Such fond memories of doing the North Coast Trail, Cape Scott lighthouse, and finishing with a night at San Josef Bay. Would also be interested in hearing how you kept all your electronics charged, as well as what you have in your packraft repair kit and any repairs you had to complete over the course of this trip.

Do you have a video how to on that insulation looking thing you use with your cooking set?

I don’t, but I followed someone else’s video - maybe Darwin or Frozen made it? I can’t remember, but if you search for something like “diy hiking pot cozy” it should come up. In any case, making one is very simple - some people use a product called Reflectex, but I used a car windshield reflector (and tape). It works great.
