I think by now, everyone knows that diet plans don't work because they are not sustainable. You can eat like this for a few days, not forever. No one can have just paneer or turmeric milk for dinner, and you can't eat these same things every day. A healthy diet should be a way of life, not a diet plan. It's absolutely fine to eat roti, sabzi, dal, chawal, or whatever it is that you like to eat. The only things to remember are: 1. Portion control, 2. Very little oil or ghee 3. A little less of roti and rice, and more protein and vegetables. 4. Cut down on sugar, and the MOST important thing is to have dinner by 7 pm. That's it. You can continue to eat what you are eating now if you just make these couple of changes. All the healthy and slim people I see in my family, friend circle, and work are people who never have a diet plan, they eat regular food which they like, just being mindful of portions, how it's cooked, and when they eat the last meal. The ones who keep going on diet plans are the ones who are always struggling with weight and are never happy because they think they can't eat roti sabzi dal chawal.

Your view point is absolutely right but also extremely simplified and myopic view point of only slim fit and healthy individuals. Diet is never one size fits all. In my 4 years experience, I have seen so many clients who eat healthy and home cooked but don’t lose weight. Home cooked is great but not everyone know what is healthy home cooked food & the right proportions. It is not easy for everyone to have that kind of lifestyle like eat by 7 PM. It is ideal but not suitable for all. Most corporate people come back home after 8 or 9 PM. Woh kya karenge ? Jo bandi 100 ya 90 kgs ka hai, usko calorie deficit pe jaa kr pehle apna weight loss karna hi padega. Next that person will revert to eating in maintenance. People who are obese or have several health conditions also have trouble losing weight with normal home cooked food. This diet plan also has roti sabji chawal everything but also many varieties coz OMG ! Even I get bored with roti chawal everyday 😊 Let people enjoy some variety. Plus enjoy new things to cook and not end of ordering foods from zomato coz of boredom (which is very common btw 😅)

@SimpleTipsAnwesha I disagree, and I stand by what I said. Even if someone is 100 kg like you say, their weight loss HAS to be sustainable. Sure, it will take much longer, but eventually, it will become a way of life, and that's the ONLY way to stay healthy and fit. No, I am not talking only about slim people, and my view is not myopic because I am thinking about a sustainable lifestyle for the long term and not just short-term gains with people gaining their weight back when they give up "diet plans" and recipes which someone else gives them. Calorie restriction can lead to slower metabolism, increased hunger hormone, and decreased satiety - You not only feel hungrier, but you’re less likely to feel full or satisfied by what you eat. If I drink only a glass of milk at night, I will be thinking about food all night and not sleep. This will also make me irritable, stressed, and generally unhappy. You are right, diets are not one size fits all, which is what I am saying. If one does want to follow a specific diet instead of making overall food and lifestyle changes like I said, then one should go see a nutritionist who will examine your medical issues, do tests to figure out if you have any nutritional deficiencies, review your specific eating habits, likes and dislikes, profession, lifestyle etc. and THEN recommend a diet that will work specifically for YOU, for your taste, lifestyle, working hours, your specific nutritional needs, etc. Watching a general diet suggested on RU-vid is not the way to go. It's not going to work.

daily 4 market peanut butter daily bread isn’t the healthy option. Once or twice a week is okay. Pls choose a healthy no sugar peanut butter or make at home
