Well That wasn't much of a challenge lol. Yes its for pitching at. Not baseball though, wiffle ball. I used to have a backstop behind it and a little wiffle ball field set up. Complete with lines and foul poles. I got tired of everyone arguing balls and strikes so I put that board behind it. Hits the board it's a strike, put it through the hole and it's an automatic strike out. (I think that only happened twice with thousands of pitches thrown at it lol)

Lol at the wife! I'm losing red oaks like crazy here. Not sure if there is some sort of blight or what, but to your point, I have dead oaks too! I'm with Gabe, my guess was baseball related...maybe stand behind it and it gives a good idea of the strike zone when looking thru it??
Hi Mike: I enjoy your videos. You seem to have a lot of knowledge about outdoor stuff. How large is your property? I have a small 13 acre organic farm in Monee, Illinois. Just decided to by a ABI TRS 3. Not cheap but it replaces 3 attachments. Its great for no till or low till farming and preparing seed beds. I also have gravel drives and its great for them. Hi, I stopped to watch your video because I saw your goldens in the picture for the video. I watched it to see the dogs! They are great :-) A lot of my oaks are dying from two lined chestnut borers. Yes, the clover came in good. I haven't had anything in the feeder for about 2 months now. Now that everything is green theres all kinds of food out there. However I'm going to load it up this weekend and set a camera up and watch them grow and take inventory lol
I don't know where you are but in CT gypsy moths are killing oaks all over the place and it is so "progressive" here that the towns have long since outlawed wholesale spraying for them.
It's a Bad Boy, It's built very heavy duty, the frame, the deck, everything. It's mows well. What I don't like is thats bad on side hills, nothing real steep but side hill stuff the front end wants to go down the hill. Only other thing is it's purpose built. There is really nothing else you can do with a zero turn except cut grass (which is fine except for the 6 months a year there is no crass cutting)
You mow about as much yard as I do, mine is a 5 plus acre yard and I know what you mean about "Purpose Built" I have a Dixie Chopper Classic 3360 (33 horse power V twin engine, 60 inch cut) it's a beast on grass cutting. I don't have a problem on hillsides that you mentioned but you do have to be alert as they do tend to want to turn downhill when going sideways to the bank, but my mower has the really aggressive rear tires and springer front end so it's a lot easier to control on a bank. It takes me approx. 48 minutes to mow my yard, not counting trimming. My daughter has the Bad Boy mower, but it in no way compares to the Dixie Chopper in speed of cutting or comfort as the one I have has the air suspension seat that is fully adjustable and has the adjustable back rest and lumbar feature. They are expensive, but well worth every penny. By the way I am in Kentucky about 35 miles south west of Cincinnati, Ohio. Some Red Oaks are prone to root rot for some reason or another, I have a lot of them here on my farm as well and have had several huge ones to develop root rot and topple over, 4 or 5 of the were in the 55 inch diameter size and well over 100 feet tall, lots of fire wood in just one. Emerald Ash Borers has destroyed just about all the White Ash trees on the place too, just wonder what will happen to the bugs after there are no more of that type of trees for them to munch on. I hope it causes them to go extinct.
Well. That post was a little much for the Kubota but i seen mighty melissa just kick it and brake it right off. Then, you could just see her in the camera frame flexing her muscles (shes a hoot).
