His NFL stats were solid. Tired of hearing about him being a bust. His NFL career was cut short due to injuries, but was a solid player in my opinion.

Most people who say that about him either have no football IQ or were just jealous of him. As Bill Fralic said the “Juice” was prevalent in college and NFL. Bosworth realized the injuries weren’t worth it. But All-Rookie team is not a bust...

@@tinasmith-syperski4301 Dude a lot of players did steroids back then...People don't realize when Boz did steroids at OU it wasn't illegal at that time.

He was the greatest College Linbacker that has ever played college football..Coming to Norman back then was like going to the Roman Colisium and Bosworth was the BIG BAD LION....

Not when he came to Miami to play, Canes punked him out. He couldn't do jack shit against the Hurricanes, he cried leaving to Orange Bowl, Like a corn fed little girl.

Back in the 1980s, Brian Bosworth had the look and personality of a future professional wrestler. I understand Brian Bosworth had no ambition to be a wrestler. However, the wrestler Sting (Steve Borden) had the same look and hairstyle but he was leaner. Sting became a big star in WCW starting in 1988 and throughout the 1990s. Sting is currently in AEW. I wouldn’t know if Brian Bosworth and Sting ever met personally. Another wrestler who looked like Brian Bosworth later on was Brock Lesnar who started with the WWE in 2002.

He sure as hell backed up his mouth with his play and I know he didn't have a professional career to speak of shoulder injuries and all that but I compare his short college career they're all short 3 years maybe approximately anyway when I think of Brian Bosworth or the bars I think of Lawrence Taylor are the Giants and Dick Butkus of the Chicago Bears and I have to put jack ham or Jack Lambert in there of the Steelers one of them was a beast I can't remember which one more of a beast in the other I'll put it that way but when number 44 of the Sooners hit you you knew you'd been tagged it was a blast watching him play. Defense doesn't usually get the credit or glory of the offense but I think boss brought the glory 2 defense at least in the mid eighties when he was in Norman God bless you Brian

When Jack Lambert calls you the best college linebacker ever, it means something. Bosworth was a man among boys in college.

His shoulder was a bust, but not Boz. But Brian Bosworth brought it, college or pro. And never laid down, even in defeat! (see Miami game, where he had 22 tackles!). As for the Bo incident....Bo ran over everyone!

Yeah, Boz was somewhere in between Boy George and Mr T Edit: the only thing I remember about him after college was him crying about not getting his number and getting ran over by Bo Jackson
