Ah yes I love it when you combine a warm up and cool down and a 30 minute work out. Fast and quick so you can get a good workout in and deal with the rest of the day. Thank you so much for this Maddie I really appreciate it.
Same! I get frustrated when I start a workout only to realize I need to pause it and do my own. I am always on a time crunch so I often look for a specific length. Adding 10 minutes to do the warm up and cool down separately can really mess me up. I know that sounds stupid but I can't be the only one squeezing in workouts. 🙂 For the same reason I love workouts with compound movements for maximum efficiency.
Dear Maddie, This is to tell you that I've been doing ur workouts since 2 years now, and I have had a massive transformation from what I was. You gave me the clear cut guideline on how to build fitness and wellness, rather than just the idea of losing weight. I love you so much, and thank you for every little bit you've done for the madfit fam! You're awesome! Thank you for making me stronger! ❤️💪
As many workout videos as there are on RU-vid, I continuously find myself coming back to your page for almost 99% of my workouts, I appreciate the talk throughs and in depth on how to correct form, it has made the biggest difference in my routine. I love the large selection of workouts and how they're simple, yet highly effective!
Hiya! I wanted to share my experience with this workout as someone with PCOS (meaning intense workouts raise my cortisol levels, which then leads to high anxiety and thus spiked insulin levels) I did it slowly and even then it was intense, but it felt good! Around 25 minutes I started getting nauseas so I told myself, “you did the best you could, forcing yourself to finish despite your body telling you it’s had enough is not beneficial to your health.” So I stopped and stretched. That being said, I thank Maddie for the space she creates in her videos for people like me who need to take things slow or modify. I’m so excited to keep up the challenge! We can do this!!!
I also have PCOS but I haven't exercise in a few weeks and if I did it was light like dancing so it felt really intense I had to skip to cool down midway :(
@@ponyxaviors4491 no, it's not. Completing tasks is extremely important for building self-discipline that usually people with excessive weight lack. Do modified and lighter versions of exercises, if you're tired, but show up for all 32 minutes.
@@its-tinyavocado That only applies in certain circumstances. It is NOT GOOD to continue a workout when you're feeling nauseous. It's important to learn to listen to your body's signals, and then you can develop the skill to recognize the difference between when it's only your mind limiting you and you can push through it, or when it's your body telling you that something is wrong and you need to back off. This especially applies if somebody has a condition that physically effects their body as the OP mentioned. Also, the OP said that they continued to do activity in the form of stretching, which is still holding to "completing a task" as you mentioned, but in a much safer way that sounds like it would benefit their body's particular needs in that moment and help calm the anxiety their system was experiencing.
Love these 30 minutes workouts with weights where the exercises includes several muscle groups - and perfect with warm-up and strechting included! More of these thank you! 🙏
Hi December challenge friends! This was a KILLER! I’ve definitely done this workout before… so when we got to the horizontal lifts I was like “NOOOOOOO!” But I will say… it felt a lot easier the second time around!! Stay on it friends this is going to be an awesome month🎉
That’s good to hear. I haven’t had to take breaks during Maddy’s workouts to catch my breath in months but I did with this one. Maybe I’ll give it another shot next week lol
December Challenge Day 1 complete! This was an amazing workout. It was challenging and made me very sweaty. I love the fact that it was low impact, and you could choose to use weights or not use weights. Thanks Maddie!
This was really exhausting but I think it was because I was pretty tired mentally and physically beforehand. I'm glad I did it, thank you Maddie and have a good day/evening everyone:) ;
Same exhaustion definitely makes things tricky. Today is one of those days I wouldn’t have worked out but I couldn’t miss the first day of the challenge! And I feel so much better now😊
Thank you so much for the cool down. I had to adjust some exercises since I'm a beginner bat this but loved it anyway. I love and I'm enjoying my process. Thanks Maddie!
Holy crap this was so good. It is hard for me to break a sweat and this had my muscles burning, body sweating, and red faced. This is definitely being saved.... Thank you for this.
Starting this today so i will have done it all by my birthday!! I took my measurements and weight today, so when i finish it i will be back to see if i got any progress done. Even if i don't lose weight, i hope to feel more energized and in touch with my body and health
Girl I love you‼️Your exercise are awesome, I had a car accident a few years back and trying too get back in shape hasn’t been that difficult thank God love your videos‼️♥️♥️♥️🤗
Did this after a month of not working out snd IM DEADDD, such a good workout!! Loved the creativity of mixing leg, core and arm workouts into one. And having the warm up and cool down included is my fav
I LOVE this workout! Lately I’ve been doing more 30-minutes, full-body, cardio workouts…this will become my favorite! I was sweating bullets at the end. Please make more like this, especially with no jumping. I’m on hormone therapy for breast cancer and although it’s keeping the cancer from coming back, a side effect is joint pain…mine is mostly in my knees. 💪🏻
Hey Maddie! I’m a new mom and I’ve started working on getting my body back since having my baby and your workouts are incredible. I did them before I got pregnant as well but now they just seem to do even more for me (probably because I have a lot more to lose 😂). Thank you so much for continuing your super hard work with these. I’m so excited to get my body back and feel the best for my son. Your workouts are quick and get me sweating with purpose and that I found out is a must when you have a baby lol so little time and you make it happen. Thank you 💖
Day 1. I did it!!! I started and this is already a win. I am so sweaty but surprisingly not dead lol. I do not excercise regularly yet this was perfect for me, the most I've been doing is MadFit's 30 minute stretching routine, but that was it. I'm glad I'm not discouraged after this first workout.
Love love love this one! Had a warmup, cool down, variety, newness and worked entire body including getting the heart pumping, the thirty minutes flew by😊
I skipped thru and thought "this is a doable monday evening workout" when I ended up sweating like hell cause it's a damn BURNER :D your workouts are the absolute best, love it girl
I can't believe I haven't found you until now, Maddie! I'm 50 and going through meno, and I gained 10 lbs in a month just like that. They tell us older girls that we shouldn't do mounds of hard cardio because the cortisol spike isn't good for shrinking the little belly pooch, and that we should do low impact workouts with weights. So these workouts are so perfect, AND we get to feel inspired by keeping up with you younger girls. Please keep these coming!!! XOXO
I did this workout yesterday and that side raise leg up is a killer - my hip/side bum is really sore today! I am super flexible ( split, hands flat on floor on a bent forward etc...) but that exercise isn't good . Next time I will perform a leg side kick out instead , like you do in your other videos :) Great compact efficient workout !
I only just found your workouts maybe a month ago. I'm loving them. I'm going through peri-menopause and have stopped running, hoping to find something I can do without all the bouncing around. Your workouts give me that cardio hit, plus the fantastic strength-training I know I need for my whole body, and many are without jumping which is a huge benefit for me! Thank you for putting these out there, and I look forward to continuing!
Day one of the December fitness workouts - I’m sweating, found it really difficult at time but I didn’t give up. I haven’t worked out in some time so this is really going to help me get back on track with the gym. I took small breaks when I needed too. Looking forward to tomorrow 😊
I’m checking in for the December challenge too! So excited to be doing this with a community as great as this one 😊 it came at a perfect time for me I am starting my fitness journey up again after a bit of a downfall lol thanks Maddie you’re the best
Madz!!! My husband and I have been doing your videos several times a week for a couple months now and we have become hiking BEASTS!! Not only was my last backpacking trip a breeze despite being a technically challenging hike ~~ we completed the Griffith Park 12 Peaks Challenge! Thanks so much for your awesome videos and instruction! You’re amazing!🙏🏻💞
Love that you included warm up/cool down! It makes working out at home feel way more attainable. Please make more of these (esp beginner friendly/no equipment!!)
Love this workout! The warm up, format, and cool down, and the use of light weights! The only improvement I can suggest is to find music that is more up-tempo, especially for the beginning of the workout! And to choose a down-tempo song that comes on at the beginning of the cool down. It would also be cool if the music were at a bit higher of a volume :) So grateful for these vids! Thanks Maddie
I really enjoyed doing this one. I wish there were more workouts with weights, I feel like they challenge me more. I only do workouts on your channel. Love your videos!!!❤️❤️
I will never not 'like' one of your workouts!! This one was seriously intense! I feel like this one will be my go to 'bang for your buck' workouts. That first set was killer!! Love what you are and love what you do for all of us loyal and dedicated fans. Thanks again Maddie!!
I absolutely loved how you incorporated the warm up and the end of exercise cool down. I wish there were more like this. Not many people film with these added to their videos. Nice as an all in sha-bang. I also think with these added into your video it helps a person to remember that this is necessary in a work out. Both for managing heart rate as well as to avoid injury. I’m guilty of jumping into a workout without proper warm up and cool down stretches. So thank you for this. 💜💜
Exactly what I was looking for: makes use of weights and has no jumping. I couldn't finish the entire thing this time, but I'll try again until I am able to!
Recovering from Influenza and trying to get back into an exercise routine. Day 1 ✅️ took it lighter in some exercises but finished it . ... hopefully will recover some strength soon.
I love how you let us know proper form before beginning the exercise it helps a ton to remind us about that mind to muscle connection. So many video either they talk too much or not talk at all…I love all your videos I just wished they were longer 40-1hr workouts. Thank you Maddi for your crisp videos!
Loved that you combined both warm up and cool down, as well as repeating the exercises as a no repeat workout often seems more mentally tiring. I´m not a fan of exercies that combine two different exercises as it takes away the focus and may lead to injury or not super effective results. But all in all aa great workout!
December 2022 Workout Plan, Day 1: Complete ✅ (I couldn't wait until tomorrow, so I started early 😅) Nice and tired and sweaty! But I feel great. I was still sore from previous workouts, but I just couldn't resist getting a start on this program 🤩 I'm trying to keep a positive spin on my mindset for this program this month. I am strong, I have the power to heal from my emotional wounds, and I deserve amazing things! Will anyone join me? List something positive about yourself anytime you complete a day in this month's program. Drop your Day 1 compliments below 👇🏻
I’m doing this December challenge right along with you! My perspective on exercise has changed in the past year, since I got an ankle injury. In the past, I did not have a healthy relationship with exercise or food. I’m doing this challenge in appreciation of my ability to move my body everyday and to feel stronger and healthier, rather than to lose weight or fit into any standard that society has for women’s bodies. I’m making a commitment for my health, and I’m looking forward to feeling great at the end of this month and 2022!
@@chyannereyes6059 I love that! I've also had an unhealthy relationship specifically with food in the past. I never ate enough and was underweight, but this past year or so I've gotten myself to a healthy weight and am beginning to view food in a much better way. Madfit's workouts have helped me appreciate my body and what it's capable of a lot more. I'm also excited to end off this year on a positive note 😁 A lot better than last year, when I was sick with Covid through most of December, lol.
I've just started today December 2 your December challenge, so without further to say, let's get do it. I thought the 5 pound dumbells were not a big deal, how dead wrong I was!!!!!! Do not underestimate the 5 pound dumbells. I've learned a lesson today. Thanks Maddie
Good morning!! Excellent workout ! I kept up , and I personally feel like I've gotten stronger more agile , thanks to you for your work and motivation dedication!!!
I’ve only started working out since yesterday and found this video by curiosity and thought I’d try it out. It was a brilliant workout and definitely got me sweating! 🥵💪🏻
When you do at home workouts in the gym 💪🏼 I felt weird at first but I’m learning to not care and just do want I want and that makes me feel good. Still following madfit on this new workout journey!
Great workout -- really maximizing the 30 min with the combo exercises -- strength training but gets your heart rate up so has a cardio aspect. Also love Maddies's style, just enough cues and direction without constant chatter that so many instructors do! 👍👍
Day 1 done, I surprised myself after an "extended" break from exercise. Thanks Maddie/Maddy, you always make me feel good for exercising and not bad for the many times I miss!
Omg I'm so excited to do this! I haven't done a workout in a week due to college work and now I have time and I'm so happy that I can do one thank you maddie!!!
day one of the challenge!! thank you for doing this Maddie, I’m pretty new and I didn’t know it was a thing until yesterday. and yes I nearly passed away a couple times during this video, but it was awesome 😅😅 also highly recommend to everyone: exercise outside in the sun if you can during winter :) helps with seasonal depression and the endorphins are even stronger after!
I wholeheartedly enjoyed this workout for many reasons! The ability to use light weights, one weight, or no weights is wonderfully accessible. The warm up and cool down in the video shows that you see prepping and stretching muscles as PART of a workout, not in addition to. Also, the music was enjoyable and upbeat enough to keep me going. Saving this one :+)
December challenge day 1 done!! Thanks for these videos and this awesome December calendar! I've got it printed out and hanging on my wall for accountability purposes haha. Feeling super pumped!
I so much appreciate those 15 sec little breaks. I remember your early workout videos from 3 years ago - there were hardly any breaks. You are doing great, Maddie! Thank you!😊💪💪
I've been loving your videos, and always wish I did more of them! I'm so excited to be joining this challenge for the motivation to move daily through the holidays! Thanks Maddie :)
Including the warm up and cool down is stellar....I know the workout will be 30 minutes! vs...me needing to warm up to get ready for the video...and then needing to cool down to be ready to move on to my next activity. Makes the time advertised time more realistic! thank you!
Just found your channel, perfect timing to start the challenge. This showed me how unfit and nonbalanced I truly am. But hey that’s what starting a challenge is for right?! Good luck to everyone else doing the challenge.
Hi Maddie, for me as a beginner it was killer. Never was really a fan of home workout, but I love your programmes, they are well combined and I appreciate I don’t need equipment and no need to jump. Keep up! Thank you 💪🏼
Thank you madfit.i only lost 3 kilo, but I got so much stronger & happy with your workout. ❤❤❤ My next goal now maybe be different , but I keep coming back here for my happy time(workout😊) and you🙏
I’m starting the December challenge a couple days early to allow for some oops days. I did this work out yesterday and it kicked my butt! Today I’m feeling quite sore so I started today with about 15 minutes of stretching. I’m excited to be doing the challenge and hoping my body will learn to recover better
I needed to find workout that would get my heart rate up and work my core, this did just that plan to repeat several times until the challenge is too easy then will go on to another. Thank you!
Doing the December challenge. This was honestly a bit challenging but that’s what I need so I’m glad I pushed through the burn was good and I’m so sweaty and feeling strong 💪🏾
I’ve been following your workouts for a couple weeks now. I’m excited for the December challenge. My wedding is in October, and have been loving your videos. You are goals, thanks so much! 😊
On my second week already, the first week was the hardest, hard to balance, but now slowly able to balance myself, my clothes really get wet from sweat doing this 💪🏻
Im doing the December challenge! even tho its not december lmao whyy nott and omygod this is intensee but i told myself that even tho its soo exhausting i should keep going cuz after i finish this workout its gonna be an amazing achievement! Thank you for this it felt good 🎉
December Program Day 1 🙌🏼 I enjoyed this workout, since it’s my first time working out in a couple of months! So a nice refresher! Can’t wait for the rest of the month🫶🏼🫶🏼
Maddie as always is an inspiration for me. Stopped working put for an year and felt like i need to move my body again. This was an amazing start. Hope to keep on with the December challenge. Thank you, Maddie
