This game is not designed to be played on HC. I think GGG added HC to please the HC fanbase and if they didn't have the option, people would be constantly pestering them to add it until they finally do. This video is just further constant proof of that. You can even have the best gear in the game. All the life nodes, res maxed overcapped, max armor and evasion, you name it. You WILL still get one shot by something eventually. But let's even put that aside. Let's say you have god reflexes and have the insight and knowledge to know what is coming at all times. Your internet will have a hiccup eventually, and you will have some lag and still die. But let's even put THAT aside. Let's say your internet is perfect and never has any issues and you are hardwired right into your router and have a ping of 1. You will eventually encounter a game bug that will stall your game and you will die. AND LET'S SAY everything above wasn't an issue. You have perfect BiS gear, have all the life nodes, res maxed overcapped, max armor and evasion, perfect reflexes and insight, perfect internet and the game is COMPLETELY bug free. How will you still die? Well, even though YOUR internet is perfect, GGG servers will eventually have a hiccup and you cannot do anything about. If all that doesn't say this game is not meant for HC, I'm not sure what will.

Wow, these guys are hardcore compared to me. I noticed they are trying to beat late act bosses with HP I usually have by the end of Act 3!

too many things can one shot u in poe hc isnt viable at all.. its not like dark souls where u can learn fights,.. too many fights in poe and most times u dont even die on the boss, its just random shit and multiple mods

Years later and I still dont understand the enemy scaling in this game. No matter how much resistance and life you build, most high tier builds still have 15% or lower survivability. No matter who or what you build. You get one shot....

Respect to some of these people getting so far in the SSF HC challenge leagues. Game mode is addicting as hell. Some of it was a mix of greed (Doedre dmg before getting behind pillar on phase transition), running with super low stat values for more insane challenge getting insta-gibbed, d/cs at bad times, and/or idk lol - too much shit on screen to see what killed.

Watching this makes me feel better about my stupid deaths

playing poe , i swear we all have the same motion , you develop a twitch when you see your health. bar take huge damage , then in the Back ground you hear the slamming of keys usually your guard / movement skill with flasks lol

Poe lags sometimes no matter how good your set up is. When lag happened you die for sure. Playing hardcore is risky

They keep sayin packet loss death but they are trying to logout because they are dying...

Weird most of these deaths were very obvious ones, seems theire either don't care (cuz streamer) or they actually dense and don't see it. Some rules you can see theire ignore 1. Extra projectile on most minions don't spread and straight up doubles theire dmg. 2. If you're immortal call pop run away until it's cooldown reset. 3. If you cannot kill the boss during you're flask effects you just walk away and get more dmg. 4. All enemies in game programmed to pop all theire remaining abilities directly on the player when they are near death. For this reason you have to use culling strike to avoid it. 5. Never backtrack. Enemies engadged and not killed will spam abilities some over time ones and if you move where you were before you get into them even after they died. They also remain active and can offscreen you while you move back, prepare shots way before you notice them. You have to always move ahead and even after the map is done DON'T go back only forward. 6. The moment you see green or red auras either run sideways (not back) or port out. They are lvl 50 auras and automaticly kill you. 7. Instant life recovery potions are better then exiting the game. And cast when stunned teleport skills or portal (you can click on opened portal while stunned), also you can open portal from scroll while stunned. 8. Durring boss fights always run bigger circles then the maximum aoe of the boss. 9. Only do more then 2 linked trust Syndicates if you want to die, and don't even do it before lvl 100 lol, even with red linked its risky. 10. Ah yeah, spiky back minons instant aoe on death, think the only minion left in there with instant aoe skill on death. You automaticly die to that, literally the only minion like that, how can you not remember that lol. 11. prolyl forgot some already gl hf

I hate that people actually have panic macro's to disconnect. You got killed, you fucked up, take the punishment.

The problem with this game is there really isnt any playability in between instantly kill or be killed. Diablo 2 at least felt good when running around in boss fights. This game just feels like youre going to get hit no matter what due to the amount of shit on the screen. circling doesnt feel as important in this as it does in diablo 2.
