Julie, thanks for your reply. I live with my 94 yr young mother where parent/adult child roles are now reversing. Mom was a Home Ec major in college so our kitchen has been full of the best foods. Now I, in my novice skills have taken on many of the meals from breakfast to dinner. It's new but so far so good. Tomorrow is your meatloaf, redskins potatoes and a salad. I’ve been cooking dinners for 50 years, & I’m really kind of over it 😉. I started cooking back when there wasn’t much in the way of convenience foods, & I do try to stick with unpressed foods. So many of your recipes use simple ingredients with the addition of convenience foods that aren’t overly processed but really add flavor & make cooking much easier on my old. bones. Thank you!
Barmar , I was telling my sister the same thing yesterday. I’m 73 and have been cooking and doing housework since I was 10! I’m done with it all, but my husband still expects home cooking. When I’m in the mood I cook great. I’ll try some of these recipes, but he is very picky!

That's exactly why I started following her a couple of years ago. She also has so many different styles and ways to cook. More than I've seen other creators have. Whether it's 25 meals for $5 per meal, 10 minute quick meals, crockpot meals, sheet pan meals, casseroles, or meals that take a little longer. I love that she doesn't use a lot of processed foods and she's pretty budget friendly. I'm a 43 year old who is also disabled and unable to work because of pressure wounds. I live on a limited income, and her videos inspire me a lot. I'm seriously going to get a notebook and write down as many of her recipes that I like as I can. I'm also planning on buying her cookbook. I've sent multiple links to my mom and other family and friends. I've been watching her videos since about 9pm last night. Lol. I'm not even watching TV shows that I recorded. 😂

We make fajita burgers similar to your quesadilla burgers. It’s a cooked hamburger Patty seasoned with fajita seasonings put on a tortilla in the pan with sautéed peppers, onion, and cheese. The tortilla gets folded around the patty like a hamburger bun. We put whatever extras we wanted on it like toppings on a burger (guac, sour cream, salsa, etc). They’re really good.

The grinder Sandwich....we made into a salad here not long ago just to forgo all the bread, an make the dressing a little thinner by adding the banana pepper brine and a little extra red wine vinegar, I also add lemon pepper in my dressing mixture and it's a flavor bomb. My kid and her boyfriend eat it up. I chop up my onions, my meat, my tomatoes, my banana peppers, my pickles and put it over shredded lettuce , I use shredded cheese , and add the dressing and I throw a lid on it and shake it up ....add some croutons if you like .. But it's Soooo good and no bread unless your using croutons. I personally crush my croutons (just a few) up and throw over the top.

Loved the pork chop recipe. That had to be my favorite. I love pork chops. We don’t have them often enough. And the cheeseburger quesadilla look great. There were really too many to choose from. But pork chops are still my fave. We have a little market close by. And they have the best meat. I’m going to get some of their pork chops to use for that recipe. My husband loves zucchini and mushrooms. So I could make that recipe for him. I’m not that big a fan of zucchini. I’m going to have to watch this again and pick out some more recipes to make this week. I make the goulash for our Christmas Eve recipe. I make one with meat and one without for the vegetarians in my family. And everyone loves it. It will probably be a pasta recipe. Those are another favorite of mine. And the grinder sandwiches would be a big hit at my house. I have some leftover mashed potatoes in my refrigerator right now. So part of one of the recipes is already made.
Cant wait to try a lot of these recipes. Youve been saving my sanity recently coming to the end of my 3trimester in pregnancy. I'm sure ill be following you for post partum too!

Okay, I promise, this will be my final comment for this 30 meal video. If I waited to the end, I'd forget what I wanted to say so, here's the third comment, there'll be no more (for this video anyway)!! For ur final dish, u reminded us to cut against the grain of the flank steak for tenderness...I have an additional way to keep tougher pieces more tender. I watch Marion Grasby, In the Kitchen with Marion, she has a RU-vid channel, teaches how to use budget friendly ingredients and she does a lot of Asain flavored dishes and she uses corn starch (sometimes baking soda) sprinkled over the meat to ensure tenderness. It doesn't take much but when u mix it in, stir every piece of the meat so it has this coating on it. It's these little tips and tricks that help me be better in the kitchen!! I hope u don't mind me sharing this, hoping it helps anyone who wants a bit of an edge to make the most awesome meals out there!! Hugs from Alaska!!💖😊💖
They now make an unsalted Campbell’s Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom. No MSG either. Way less sodium. Pacific brand makes a good Gluten Free Cream Soup. Kroger simple truth is all organic and no corn syrup. If they don’t like any of those options. They need to just Google ( substitute for Cream Soup canned). You do an amazing job. I am glad you made a substitution for the ones that can’t google. I just wish you didn’t have to. Bravo on all these recipes. All look delicious.

The recipes look delicious. If the beef stew meat skillet was deglazed with some of the beef stock needed, it would pull up all those delicious bits of flavor😊
I still eat burgers that way make one bid burger to fit the circile ..flip when done slice in half you have two that fit perfectly add topping and ketsup..
HOLD UP. That beef stew....all the flavorful bits on the bottom of the frying pan! Tip: Pour about 1/4-1/2 cup of that beef broth into the pan to briefly deglaze it and scrape up the bits; then add it right to the slow cooker. Mmmm. The stuffed bacon wrapped chicken is one of our absolute faves; I make it for a culinary-challenged friend all the time. Freezes well in airtight packaging.

If you dont want dishes to wash do the past in a deep teflon pan add rav sauce some water to clean each can.. add spinach olives and cook toward end add ricotta but large curd cottage cheese is cheeper... and a few caed mushrooms i never use a wh9lecab i bag and frig so i have som forceverything like soagetti plain tmgoesxto fum with diced tomatoes olive slices and oarm on top with a drizzle of olive oil ..
