Nothing wrong with that door! It has the correct amount of filler for the condition it was in, and the work you have done on it looks fantastic. I don’t think you guys realise how big an inspiration you are to the unknown masses on the web. That said, that could all change if the mankini makes an appearance…. 😜
Thank you. That means a ton to hear that, especially as these last few weeks have been such a slog. We're starting on the top coat now though, finally, and it looks soooo good! Hehe ... The threat of the mankini seems to have a few folks worried! Scary mental image, I agree!
I have been following your build right from the start and am really enjoying it because it is very close to what i had wanted to do (but life got in the way) the only difference was my choice of a truck. I wanted to restore a Leyland Octopus. Great work & great videos 👍👍
Thanks, Ian, much appreciated. Will you be able to tackle your own project at some point in the future? Life is a tricky beast. We have found that adopting a 'head in sand, let's kick that can on down the road' approach to be working well for us! But it is scary at times. Thank you for following along. Hopefully we will prevail and give you a little inspiration if you get the chance with that Octopus at some point.
