An honest video of zeroing an AR-15 Pistol chambered in 300BLK. 7 inch match grade melonited barrel, 1/8 twist, free float handguard, vortex magnifier. Magpul K2+ grip and Shockwave Brace. Amazon bipod.
Firing Sig Sauer 125 grain match-grade ammunition out of Gen 2 PMAGs.
Zeroing at 50 yards to try something new.
Also, exploding a 2.5 gallon DEF container with 110 grain Hornady Custom ammunition at the end in slow motion. Enjoy!

I don't know if you've ever tried this before but point your truck toward the target and lay a blanket on your cab roof. It's much more comfortable plus you're standing.

What are your thoughts on accuracy at 50 yards? Can you shoot good groups without the magnifier at 50 yards???

I was pretty blown away with the accuracy and grouping at that range.

With the extreme temperature changes that you experience in Oregon, have you noticed any issues with your eotech losing zero, or having the zero drift from where you set it?

+C.J. Nuessle I have not and I have been carefully monitoring that. I bought it after the zero issues were identified so it's been on my mind, especially with it sitting in the truck during winter and summer months.

Dude theyve said its major major temp fluctuations. Nothing any normal civilian would face. Unless it went from a freezer to afghanistan during the summer.

How do you make a video with the split screen like this. I want to make a shooting video and add the target impacts in the same screen?

I use Hitfilm4 Express. It took me a while to get the hang of but it's pretty easy to place two videos side by side or picture in picture. There are RU-vid tutorials that explain it better than I can, lol.

What buffer combo you running? I run a sprinco with a h2 and it really tamed all my recoil, also get a proper brace I run the tailhook mod 2 and its badass!!

*I run TUBBS AR-10 flat-wire buffer spring with H-3 buffer in carbine length buffer tube...IN my OVER-GASSED 16" carbine length 5.56 CAR-15. Compared to weak factory spring and light buffer .... It runs much smoother now.*

dvskid33 probably not,man. I've been doing a lot of digging on it before I purchase my barrel. 1/8 seems to be ok down to a 9" with subs. After that, you start getting key holes.

The ATF changed their position on shouldering AR pistols and you are allowed to shoulder as long ad you don't modify the brace at all from its factory construction.

I clicked on the video when I seen PNW. I live in Olympia area and was looking for any signs of it being in capital forest where I shoot all the time. I’ve caught tweekers trying to steal stuff out of my truck also.

I have subbed to you for a couple weeks now enjoy your videos. Have been shooting for 40 years now and have a similar pistol. In the vid it looks like you are shouldering that with a hard brace, but I know you are not. Go the military arms channel he recently posted a letter from the ATF concerning NFA and the braces. I seems the soft brace this the arm strap is ok to shoulder the hard brace is not, go figure. Just an FYI

Ray schultz my understanding of the recent changes in the atf opinion is that it would apply to all pistol braces, as long as they are actually braces and not stocks. They use the sig brace as an example, but the opinion isn't limited to that specific product.

+C.J. Nuessle You are correct. As long as you don't put red lock-tite on the allen threads (making it permanently affixed) you're good with the other brace variants.

Your supposed to zero the RD optic without the magnifier, first. Then center the magnifier on the RD.

That is a pistol brace without the velcro strap attached. I really wouldn't go throwing around that three letter acronym on here, especially when you're incorrect.
