ye but I have tried the other specs in the past. The core spec identities have been pretty consistent since legion. Fire has the fastest burst, Frost has good burst with more control and an extra block, and arcane has the most utility and best overall damage (since it’s almost impossible to stop their damage with their high mobility and fake casts). I’ve played some destro and demo lock in the past, but I returned to mage for the mobility and faster damage. I don’t play any melee classes so yeah basically fire mage only nowadays

haste 🏃‍♂️ mastery is bad in my opinion. more information on this in my talents guide and my first Fire Mage PvP Guide. The flamestrike guide is officially outdated.
