spellshot power is a multiplicative bonus to spellweaving stacks .1 spell dmg per stack * (1 + .73) = .173 or 17.3% dmg per stack * 11 = 190% spell damage, obviously you have ascension too. It's still very good and this build is good + entertaining video :). Also the all damage with faithful thralls, and some of the area damage you have are tremendously helping in your spell damage, since area damage is pretty much a brand new multiplier you didnt have before. I like using gun with wings since they add thrall stacks, even though the pixies will obviously do more damage. But I can focus on my pure non companion damage with gun w/wings. Just a difference in playstyle :).

@@billybones5832 he's getting a lot of all damage on gear and not spamming out pets that increase the count them selves so not speccing and using those points elsewhere makes sense

Been debating hard watching 100s of build videos and guides trying to decide on buying this borderlands or not and this video right here is it. Sadly on Xbox so can't game save the gear but you have made me decide to buy it. Hopefully I can get lucky to get the save file drop from your stream. Great build.

Great video, I was beginning to think I was the only one to use calamity and quaking sunder spell. I love the for damage and crowd control. By the way it is possible to hit things in the air with calamity if you time it right but not nearly as effective.

I love Calamity spells. I have a Dark Magic 2540x2, 2x casts, 8.9 second cool-down, that I use exclusively on my non-companion Grave/Spore. It absolutely slays, and I can drop it about every 4.5 seconds.

I have a similar build but I finished out spell shots tree to get the instant cool down from gun crits then got far enough in the lich build to stack dark damage on companions and the 3 hydras kill skills. Have 2 Moo spells and pixies on a acid pistol but the do acid and dark damage. Build slaps

Did they fix the faithful thralls pixie thing, pixies were scaling from companion damage but didn't count towards thralls stacks

That's not how the spell waving stacks are calculated if you go to your spell weaving section on the spell shot your base is 10% 73% plus the 10% gives you 17% per stack

You probably don't monitor these anymore but I just recently got into end game, got some good loot (at least so I think) currently chaos 62 or something. Mobbing is easy work (at times) but sometimes I feel like I'm spending 30 minutes on a boss lol this game makes borderlands 3 build crafting look like a cake walk lol I just can't seem to get it.

Ive been trying to farm a dark magic fearnot for 2 weeks now. And they must be super rare. Im at chaos level 58 and I rarely get a fearnot with a pixie at all. Is there some secret place to farm or a certain chaos level? Any help would be appreciated. Oh im on a ps5 . Thank you

Yea really. I’ve been trying to do a meteor build like this. Im missing the 2x meteors and went to the spellshot cap. Def gonna test this to see how it compares. Im currently doing chaos 30 with no enchants. This could be better

For anyone who cares, dark magic pixies are not possible drops in game. Any in existence have been created in a save editor. That said: cool video and build!

His dark magic fearnot is not real. Pixies and hydras can't drop as dark magic. Modders/liars arent good for damage reference when they are lying about their gear.

Sometimes @Grinn is live streaming and will drop gear for console towards the end of stream. He did it for me once. I just wanted a spell and he gave everything.

Hey explanations are great, but 7 minutes of saying nothing and then getting the first piece of actual info wrong (damage of spell weaving stacks) is bound to upset people. Not to mention people walk away with the wrong info.
