Yes, I agree it must have been amazing. I must admit it was difficult to see such ancient ruins destroyed by modern wars and lack of security. Helmand has hundreds if not thousands of structures on the side of the road that are falling apart and need help, as soon as possible. I understand war is not predictable and the country needs help in many areas, but this is the history of the country and deserves some effort.

I would interpret via my translator that as them saying Afg people are tired and want to move forward, live life in harmony with the world in business whilst unjudmentally being able to maintain their Islamic foundation.

This was an ancient jail, where the prisoners would be kept in these small rooms around the main hole. The doors would only be opened if someone was to be put in or someone was to be released. The food and water was brought down throw small sky windows in each floor. The most notorious prisoners were kept here with no meetings. It was also called as the oven because of the heat in summer.

The history of Afghanistan تاریخ افغانستان‎ as a state began in 1880 with its establishment following the end of the Second Anglo-Afghan War. The written recorded history of the land presently constituting Afghanistan can be traced back to around 500 BCE when the area was under the Achaemenid Empire, although evidence indicates that an advanced degree of urbanized culture has existed in the land since between 3000 and 2000 BCE. Bactria dates back to 2500 BC. The Indus Valley Civilisation stretched up to large parts of Afghanistan in the north. Alexander the Great and his Macedonian army arrived at what is now Afghanistan in 330 BCE after the fall of the Achaemenid Empire during the Battle of Gaugamela. Since then, many empires have risen from Afghanistan, including the Greco-Bactrians, Kushans, Hephthalites, Saffarids, Samanids, Ghaznavids, Ghorids, Khaljis, Timurids, Mughals, Hotakis and Durranis. Afghanistan meaning "land of the Afghans" or "Afghan land" has been a strategically important location throughout history. The land served as "a gateway to India, impinging on the ancient Silk Road, which carried trade from the Mediterranean to China". Sitting on many trades and migration routes, Afghanistan may be called the 'Central Asian roundabout' since routes converge from the Middle East, from the Indus Valley through the passes over the Hindu Kush, from the Far East via the Tarim Basin, and from the adjacent Eurasian Steppe. The Iranian languages were developed by one branch of these people; the Pashto language spoken today in Afghanistan by the ethnic Afghans, Pashtuns is one of the Eastern Iranian languages. Elena E. Kuz'mina argues that the tents of Iranian-speaking nomads of Afghanistan developed from the light surface houses of the Eurasian steppe belt in the Bronze Age. The Arab invasions influenced the culture of Afghanistan, and its pre-Islamic period of Zoroastrian, Macedonian, Buddhist and Hindu past has long vanished. Mirwais Hotak followed by Ahmad Shah Durrani unified Afghan tribes and founded the last Afghan Empire in the early 18th century CE. Afghanistan is inhabited by many diverse peoples: the Pashtuns, Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbeks, Turkmen, Aimak, Pashayi, Baloch, Pamiris, Nuristanis, and others

Munir statement is also true my father and grand fathers wear turbans have beard, wear guns and bullets belts for fashion/culture purpose, but aren't talib. Now in this scenario, when the person is officially assigned by Taliban HQ to perform their security task he's definitely a talib. Talib is someone working with Taliban government or Taliban groups and not the dress or beard thing. More explanation: in my area unless you don't join Taliban groups/officials in some official activity you're not called as Talib , no matter you have the most strict ideology but not preaching it= you're called talib. But when you preach/promote taliban ideology, either in mosques or in Public, then no matter if you're doing it officially or by your own then, you're 100% talib.

Then no one was safe at Thier own place because of Thier bombardments. Taliban did have air forces. This area was never really part of the persian empire. The Persians invaded and suffered huge casualties there and left and didn't even have control over the area. What a BS ! It was part of sasanid empire but sasanids have paid tax to afghan kings ? How can such extreme contradiction be carried inside a thinking person ? Oh i know the key to understand this CONTRADICTION is the fact that iran central part was known as "jahuddiah" a place that is inhabited by jews. Now look at the ethnicity of all the historians that wrote all these "PERSIAN EMPIRES BS" , 98% of them are jewish ! The funny part is all they claim to be products of sasanid and achemanid empires have neighbours culture and art signature , we still havent found one single artefact that has a unique signature of such ALEGEDLY huge empires which based on archeology science its IMPOSSIBLE ! History is written by the victors , even some iranian historians have confessed that iran was founded right after the collapse of ottoman empire , and they have pretty compelling evidences that prove around 1880 theres a obvious trace of a huge major history manipulation attempts all over the world . The house of cards is falling. In iran lorestan theres a statue that shows sasanids conquering another nation , by having a foot on the body of the conquered leader, but the aleged sasanid emperor how stepped on the leader has the afghani clothes that ppl in afghanistan still wear ! The artefact is more aligned with the fact that sasanids leaders (i doubt they were kings, let alone emperors) were paying taxes to afghans.. This fake history will collapse very soon .
