The BTR-82A is a modern armored personnel carrier designed to deliver troops and provide fire support, destroy the enemy’s manpower and lightly armored vehicles. Armored personnel carriers with the 82A designation have been commissioned by the Belarusian army relatively recently - in 2021 although the history of this vehicle had begun much earlier.
Armory is a project of the news agency BelTA and the Defense Ministry’s TV company VoyenTV. It is dedicated to weapons, military and special hardware of the Belarusian army. The hardware that went into service in the Soviet times, the hardware Belarus acquired after it became independent, and promising samples that have yet to earn the trust of uniformed personnel.
