I have used lots of HXP it’s good ammo and the brass reloads great.

Haven't reloaded it yet, but it shoots well.

Where do you manage to get those they are nice? The only drawback They are probably corrosive ammo?
@HistoryinFirearms
@HistoryinFirearms 9 месяцев назад
I got this years ago. Don't remember where. The HXP ammo is not corrosive. 👍

What an awesome spam can never seem one like this before! That v section of sheet metal looks like it could remove your hand! Do you have any idea about the time period this is from?

Yeah, I wouldn't rub my hand on it. 😁 This is Greek ammo from the '70s

I got it years ago. I wish I knew where to get more. 😕

A lot of surplus ammo was badly stored, and is unreliable and even dangerous to shoot. Most is Berdan primed and corrosive. Greek HXP is one of the more notable exceptions to this rule. Good quality brass, non-corrosive, and reloadable. I wish I had bought more when I had the chance

Wonder if they were still using Cordite when this ammo was manufactured?
@davidbliss3220
@davidbliss3220 9 месяцев назад
This stuff was made in the 60’s non corrosive boxer primed. Either stick or flake, definitely not cordite. This is considered excellent surplus.

As @davidbliss3220 mentioned, this is later production. The label can be seen at the beginning of the video. HXP-75 indicates it was made in 1975 Mk7z is the loading and the z indicates it uses nitrocelulose powder rather than cordite. Good question though.

Some of this has come up where I live any issues firing? In two minds about buying it. Also not in a crate
