Great information thanks for sharing. I have a few long cants I need to mill and had thought about building an extension deck but I believe this will work great on my LT40hd.

Location of controls on that 50 looks to be in the way of this operation. What's the species of pine? Kept thinking Scarf joinery.

VERY enjoyable and educational video! It's amazing what you can do if you take time to think it out. Just for giggles I checked Wood-Mizer and a 24' extension bed is only $ 6,000.00. Not a bad price really, if you need the extra length all the time. Keep cuttin'. Dave
