Me too.i still have D2 on a windows xp machine I have been playing over the years. I just started a new character a month ago when D2R was all hyped. Lol. Can't wait for Thursday
The portal near Aya will never disappear in Resurrected. In the old game, it will disappear if you got the waypoint and finished the quest. It will not disappear if you achieved just one of the two. The Andariel bug is working on Battlenet as well, not just in single player. When finding a gem shrine, the gem to be upgraded must be directly in the inventory. If it's in the cube, it will not be considered and a chipped gem will appear. Regarding Baal and his clone, it's the other way around. The clone has the D directly below the B, for Baal the D is a bit shifted to the right. I think that has been changed in Resurrected, both are the same there. There's another way to distinguish the two, however. Only Baal can teleport, the clone cannot.
Dude this is so much better than so many other videos I’ve seen out there. Watched a video that was talking about 5 good horadric cube recipes that was over 11 minutes long. For 5 recipes. Also adding sockets to chest and weapons were TWO separate recipes.
Another tip video I saw compounded on this. If you want to overstock on potions, buy a full belt of potions, unequip, then immediately re-equip belt, dropping all but 1 row of pots into inventory, then shift click again to quickly buy another three rows of potions! :)
Play my entire life but never notice that the gem shrine was in fact upgrading one in the inventory. Also i dint know about the alt cube glitch. Thanks so much. You can play over 100 000 hours in this game and not know everything... that just crazy. So good game.
Instead of dragging a potion and dropping it on merc picture, hold shift while pressing 1-4 on your potion belt bar to heal your merc. This might seem obvious but its not really apparent to new players. Properly gearing and keeping your merc alive is especially important for Cold Sorcs in Hell difficulty.
@@Dead_Hitori yep, you can either drag it to their picture, best way is holding shift while clicking one of the potion slots on your belt, 1-4. Get any fortitude, andys/gaze helm, and TombReaver/insight and merc will be pretty tanky. Not BoS but cheap and easy to get at first
Ok the potions at the start. I’ve only ever taken antidote and thawing AFTER being poisoned or frozen. Good tip. I did not know you could pre-drink them.
keep in mind that drinking a potion will remove the poison or slow effect but drinking before only give you resist to cold or poison damage, doesn't remove the poison or slow effect
Very nice video. I’d like to add a couple things since D2R is now out. The W trick for providing stun lock no longer works. And you can get the waypoint in Nilathaks place; the red portal will now remain open
Larzuk adds max sockets to white items, and that "max" depends on the items ilvl. For instance, the max number of sockets for a white crystal sword found in normal cows would be 4.
Andy bug works on bnet ladder. You can check by picking up an item such as a rare or blue item and it may have extra durability (failed to roll unique or set).
I been playing long time, and can tell you that you are right about lost things aside from lower kuralt, there are always 4 super chest spread around the entire area inside the huts not just because of the bonfire, but that being said the bonfire is a great indicator that you will be next to some chests
D2R updated tip: If you go into options you can select "toggle show item". No need for cube trick. This will up your pick-up speed and success rate in full runs when there is a frenzy before boss pops. May Seem like not a significant option but it is amazing
nice tricks. you should add though the "unlimited respec" to the list. Open settings for D2R in the battlenet app put in the command line : -enablerespec (like you would add in good old DOS mode) when in-game press "C" to open specs. Hold ALT and left-mouse-click on any of the stats (STR-DEX) and it will say the boom level up sound. Now you can respec for free again and again and again. Only works in offline mode though !!!!
1:36 Comment was deleted so I'll try again... This is not true. White items get sockets from Larzuk based on item level. Check to see what the item level is based on where the item was dropped and you can find out how many sockets you will get
Regarding your tip at around 0:50 for ALT key to show items, in d2r there is option in settings to choose behaviour of the alt key (toggle or hold etc).
Great video. Larzuk quest will always add maximum sockets based on item level. E.g.: You will get 2 sockets for crystal sword dropped on Act 3 normal(Ilvl 1-25), 4 sockets for crystal sword dropped on Cow level normal(Ilvl 26-40) and 6 sockets for crystal sword dropped on any Act hell(Ilvl 41+)
@@iriswaldenburger2315 Yeah, I hope it too. I am a bit dissapointed about the quality of life improvements present on beta. But well..., I love this game and I am going to play it likea crackhead
Have been playing this game for about 20 years and never thought of using quest items for leveling. Now I have to try out some Trist runs with Khalim's Will to see how it performs.
I remember rocking this game before LoD even existed. No charms, jewels, runes, assassin, druid, and all the other misc stuff that made this game what it is today. So far, my biggest and most aggravating concern with the PS4 version, is that even in the last 20 years, Sony still has not added a "Shift" button to the controller lol
Most pc games don't work on console for something similar to that reason... if you have to change the setup from mouse and keyboard controls, you lose things along the way. Like stick vs automatic.
Correct me if I'm wrong but i thought gem shrines upgraded gems in the order of your inventory. From first to last slot so if you had multiple the one farthest bottom right would be upgraded?
I don't know if anyone already said this but the baal clone trick is the other way arround. The real Baal is the one with the 'demon' word slightly aligned to the right side of the B in 'Baal'
@@OldSchoolGameSnob In case Im wrong, please feel free to eliminate my comment. but 99% sure Im correct. please double check it to make sure of course :)) btw, awesome videos. really helpfull for the new players :)
