Hi John, I just bought a ‘74 B with 57k on it. I’m a novice but enjoying every moment of fixing it up. I just replaced thee fuel tank, water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, etc. The body is solid - no rust - California car 1 owner. The wiring is holding me up!! I’ve watched every single one of your videos that I can find! Have you done an Idiots Guide to MGB wiring and do you think I should change all the original fuel lines? Love all of your videos and appreciate your expertise! Thank you, Newell Canfield
Just bought a new tourist trophy wheel and horn...the supplied little plunger (I think it's called a pencil contact) is the same as the one you have. Maybe they saw your video. But thanks for confirming for me how to install.
Your horn is grounding out somewhere. Sometimes it can be in your push button assembly, or could be a wire grounding out somewhere on the column. PITA, but logical to figure out and fix. Just follow the wires.
Sorry to disagree with you, John, but the hi/low lucas 9h horns on my 72 BGT are VERY loud. I installed a relay for the horns when I did the hi and low headlight relays. No need for air horns.
