I was today years old when I found out you can adjust the tone of your MGB horn.
While installing the cooling fans, and horns, I decided to test the horns before install. one was bad, so I decided to take it apart. turns out there is a 9/32 adjuster screw that allows you adjust the tone of your horn.
Who knew!!?

I knew that the MGB uses a two-tone horn: one having a higher note, and one having a lower note. I did not know that they basically manufacture one horn and tune it to either note.

Be sure to add a relay to the horns. It will make them nice and loud. Headlight relays are a good add-on as well. Easy to install.

Who knew? Of course MGB horns are so wimpy, I just use mine quickly for when someone is sleeping at the light. and I have and air horn for those idiots about to kill me. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2MUsSUg7YC8.html
