The thing I love most of all in this list? You still give a lot of love to Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers even against the other franchises. I think you and Mike and J over at WWAM are about the only movie reviewers who a lot of admiration for the movie lol I honestly like every single movie on this list deep down and yes, as much as i despise Resurrection i still like it because its a part of the legacy. But Halloween 6? My 4th favorite most days, but somedays its my second favorite overall. Great video sir!

Thanks a lot Lee. Good job. I’m re-watching the Elm Street movies for the first time in 20 years. Little surprised you have Part 2 so high but it’s all good. The soundtrack I think that should be discussed though is Dream Warriors. Angelo Badalamenti, who has done most of David Lynch’s music, did the score and it’s top notch. Anyways, awesome job, man. I’ll check out Cody’s list, and probably the others, later. Maybe you guys should poll up all your lists to have a grand master list. Have a good one.

Many of your favorites are mine as well such as Friday The 13th Part 4, Halloween 4, Halloween and Halloween 2018. I am absolutely ADDICTED to Halloween 2018. I just cant seem to stop watching it. It has topped even the original Halloween for me and that's REALLY saying something since the original Halloween had been my favorite film for many years.

Drumdums, this is good ranking. I bought the Producers Cut for Curse of Michael Myers on Blu-Ray from Wal-Mart yesterday for $5. I got lucky because it was the only Halloween movie available at Wal Mart.

Here’s My List -------- 31. Rob Zombie’s H2 - Absolutely terrible film. 30. Halloween Resurrection - They ruined Michael Myers in this one and it’s a Scream ripoff like H2O. 29. Freddy’s Dead - Thank God he is because he was like Bugs Bunny’s cousin in this. 28. NOES 5: Dream Child - I hate this movie. Freddy looks bad and the story makes no sense. 27. Rob Zombie’s Halloween - I hate Rob Zombie. 26. Jason Takes a Boat - Jason takes a boat. 25. Wes Craven’s New Nightmare - This is controversial but I hate this movie. It’s boring and it’s not a Freddy film because Freddy is literally not even in this movie. It’s a demon impersonating Freddy! Watch the movie. They say that. This movie sucks. The look of ‘Freddy’ is trash and the way he dies is weak. 24. Roy Burns - I like the mask in this one. I don’t mind that it’s not Jason but I think Roy’s motive is just a rehash of Jason and Pamela’s. This movie is also just the same as the other four. It’s the same old stuff. 23. Nightmare on Elm Street Remake - They ruined Freddy’s character here. I like Jackie though but this movie copies too much from the first one and the characters are bad. 22. Curse of Michael Myers - Explaining why Michael does what he does is never a good thing. 21. Jason X - Decent enough. 20. Revenge of Michael Myers - The first half of this movie is terrible but it gets good in the end. They made some very bad decisions when it comes to pretty much every character though. Michael is very terrifying in it, however. 19. Jason Goes to Hell - Nothing much to say. I like change but it’s not that good. Jason looks cool and the characters are great. 18. Friday the 13th Part III - It’s the same as the previous two but that does not make it bad. It takes way to long to get into the killing, though. 17. Freddy VS Jason - I wish it was 85 minutes of these two fighting. The characters are bad but Freddy and Jason are awesome. 16. Friday the 13th Remake - I think I’m running out of comment space. Anyway, characters are bad and Jason is good. Story is good too. 15. Halloween 3 - Fun movie. Don’t take it too seriously. 14. H20 - Jamie Lee Curtis is awesome in this and the other characters are pretty good as well. The story is good except for the part where it doesn’t explain where Michael was for 20 years. 13. Friday Part VII - I love this movie. The Jason VS Carrie ending is very awesome. I hate the Dad ending though. I actually turn it off after the house explodes and then I go right to Freddy vs Jason and skip the others when I’m watching these movies. 12. Friday the 13th (1980) - Very simple and enjoyable. 11. Halloween 2 - I love how it seems like it actually is on the same night as the first one. It’s fun to watch as well. 10. Friday Part II - A better version of Parts 1, 3 and 5. I like sackhead Jason also. And Ginnie and all of the characters are great. 9. Freddy’s Revenge - I’m definitely going to run out of comment space. Anyway, this is a good movie. 8. Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) - Yep. This movie is ranked at number eight instead of the top 5. Doesn’t mean I don’t love it. 7. NOES 4: Dream Master - I have always loved this movie. 6. Return of Michael Myers - Very scary. Great characters. 5. Jason Lives - For my final five, everything has already been said by others. They’re all fantastic movies. 4. NOES 3: Dream Warriors - What’d I say for Jason Lives? 3. Friday Part IV - What’d I say for NOES 3? 2. Halloween (2018) - This movie is soooooo good and I don’t care what you say. 1. Halloween (1978) - Of course this is number one.

WOW! You ranked New Nightmare under Halloween 5. You've got balls, man! God bless. I don't understand why people like New Nightmare so much. The premise is fantastic (I admit it) but it bites more than it can chew.

Psycho, Silent Night Bloody Night and Black Christmas were IMO the ones that started the slasher genre but are largely forgotten by many. The original Halloween was indeed the first in a long line of more modern slashers and remains to this day one of the best!

I agree with this list the most, not really into Friday the 13th. I'm not sure if I've asked this or if you've reviewed it but have you seen Martyrs (2007)? It's a fantastic horror film that genuinely gave me nightmares. It would be pretty cool if you could review it. Keep up the great work!

I completely agree with your number 2 pick, first Halloween movie I saw in theatres and it blew my mind. I was absolutely enthralled the whole time. I think it has the best opening of the series, sums up exactly what it is and what it needed to be and it delivered. Can’t wait for its blu ray release. Also speaking of blu rays I watched the blu ray version of the original Halloween today and I prefer my lower quality DVD version I have. It feels more atmospheric as if it’s really 1978 and atmosphere is very important in a Halloween movie as proven by how well it’s done in H6 and how poorly it’s done in H20 and Resurrection. Sometimes less is definitely more.
