These scenes are heartbreaking to watch. Danny and Marc were incredible.

Every time I watch one of these episodes, I quickly read everyone's comments because I am so emotionally overwhelmed and find it difficult to understand my own feelings and thoughts on what I've just witnessed. I rely on the thoughtful and deep reflection of everyone else's to see differentiate my own reaction. All I know is that I feel pain, watching these characters suffer because I care for them a lot. Thank you to Marc, Danny, Pauline, writers, and directors.

Is this superb or what? Nobody can do it better! Danny, Marc and also Pauline are perfection! x

When Jackson said "come here and kiss me and then let me go", Aaron should have said "i'll kiss you" and then have kissed him, "but i'll never let you go"

I've never cried so much watching a soap. Amazing actors, all of them. Bravo!

I must be a gluttony for pain because I continue to watch this scene over and over again. The love that these two character share is so strong that it tears your heart apart just by seeing their struggle with this issue of ending one's life,

8:24 When he says "I can't do it" and Aaron thinks, for a fraction of a second, that he's come around and doesn't wanna die, you see this flicker of hope and happiness in his face. It's heartbreaking.

This is very sad and the acting is on point all around. Kudos all around.

Oh how I wish Jackson is here now. He could help Aaron though his mums 'condition' and be able to talk to him. Aaron and Jackson were made for each other but it was short lived. Aaron needs happiness and deserves it twice over. Yes, Aaron's done pretty bad things but he's been though so much. I know this isn't real and it's Emmerdale but this character is amazing and Danny Miller is so talented. I know before anyone says that Danny Miller has his part because he is good at crying on cue but how can anyone not feel sorry for Aaron. Btw I know this was a long time ago but I wanted to get this off my chest. RANT OVER.😢

Ok I must say this has to be one of the best performance they both did.

This was one of those epis where their relationship becomes the huge topic. They talk about about the crash (it´s been ages), about Aaron not standing loosing Jacko and the word love was heard more times than ever. And what a way of saying it...wow. And did Jacko said 'kiss me'? I´m dead

WOW very intense and emotional so sad i can't stop crying for both Aaron and Jackson they love each other so much it really showed in today scenes with each other.Breaks my heart seeing Aaron struggling he doesn't want Jackson to die and Jackson crying wanting to die.

Guys------people can have a very strong relationship and be deeply in love without all the kissing and cuddling. I know cause I've been there.-------------To be 100% deeply in love is really nothing at all to do with the sex side of a relationship,you learn this as you get older.-You get the lust barrier out of the way and love takes over.

@JiminPalmSprings The award was for Best Actor, not Best Gay Character. If Danny were to win a GLAAD Award, then you would have a reason to complain. But since that's not case, Danny deserved that award hands-down. Like it or not, that guy knows how to move an audience better than anyone else at the moment (besides Marc), so it's about time he got recognized for it.

Well this sucks! But I loved the raw emotion. You could see the toll it was taking on Aaron, great work! I imagine that it would be tough in Aaron's position. He's close to powerless here - or at least feels that way. I'm ready for what's to come ... I hope at least.

@JeGaAms Same here! Never thought I would ever say the things I say about this.Never watched a soap like this one. This is beyond a soap. All British ones but specially Emmerdale is in a superior league

Jackson just emotionally blackmailed Aaron. Seriously, he should have just left Aaron out of this. Aaron was a complete mess after Jackson died and nobody should have to deal with something like that at 19 years old. Jackson should have known Aaron better, and known that he wasn't going to be able to handle life afterward. I know it would have been difficult to kill himself on his own, but Jackson should have found a way to leave them out of this if he really wanted to go through with it.

OMG...Paddy actually mentioned Adam's name...I don't watch the show just this storyline so I don't know what's happening with Adam's character but I would like to see more of Aaron and Adam's friendship especially now.

I think this scene was more then just a kiss... it was the raw emotion of two lovers fighting... one trying to let go and the other trying to hold on.. the kiss wouldn't of helped... kinda inappropriate when your bf is trying to say he wants to end it.. hardly rosemantic eh? Great scene very emotional! 10/10

I will never understand why these two can't kiss at the most kiss-worthy times of their storyline. It just doesn't make sense.

The truth from Aaron finally comes out. What hurts the most is that Jax is his first true love.

Aaron should tell Jackson if he goes he also goes too! Maybe they'll be finally alone together in heaven with no Hazel around.

Aaaw jacksons 'he looks gorgeous when he sleeps' and then hazels 'meh, he's alright' kind of ruins the moment but he does look gorgeous sleeping and awake! Cried at the ending, I don't actually think I have ever cried this much over a tv programme, I don't even like emerdale just them two! Jackson&aaron forever! Until he dies...

@halioj Best line ever in a soap! Can not wait until they off Jackie Boy.....this IS a great soap, tear jerking at it's best. But how will they do it? Classic Britt over the cliff into the churning sea, modern pills with no pain, US style..a 9mm to the back of his head...nah, not that one. I say classic Britt cliff drive.

@dipsyhappy Exactly!! Can't imagine not holding & kissing my bf at every chance if I'm not the one paralyzed. Letting/helping Jackson end his life won't make him "happy" - just dead! The tougher, LOVING, decision would be to get Jackson professional help in spite of his present wishes. He'll hate your decision at first, but not in the long run. End this SL by sending him away for treatment. Where there's life, there's hope. Danny's award's well deserved, but hope Marc received kudos, too.

@axelnelson I think the last time they kissed was when Jackson stayed over at Aaron's. It can not be the UK that has the issue because I have seen the John Paul/Craig storyline from 2007 on Hollyoaks and they made out a decent amount. I think it's just this soap. I too find it bizarre. Yet, I still keep watching because I gotta ride this train to end, even if it's going off a cliff.

@ACXiaoyu And it's because, for those of us who have watched this since Aaron beat up Paddy.. Aaron has matured and realizes Paddy has only his best interests at heart. Despite the rather nasty ending, this has been a wonderful story to watch.. everyone has matured.

This is starting to piss me off. Bring back Fin or find someone new for Aaron. They are seriously dragging this storyline out by it's teeth one at a time. Drama may be Danny's strong point, but Aaron really needs some happy right now.

such a bizarrely told story... I don't understand this storyline can win awards if this story of a loving couple being broken up by assisted suicide is underpinned by a relationship devoid of anything that resembles the closeness of a couple in love... it is beyond me. The story would work if they were loving brothers or friends... but this is bizarre nonsense and Danny Miller does not deserve an award for playing Aaron who is an unrecognizable gay man

here I'm trying to steel myself for the inevitable and then they go ahead and have a killer conversation (ugh, bad choice of words!) that just leaves me with tears streaming down my face ;_; Such great performance from the both of them! And I do agree with @whiterabbit123 that their exchange is more powerful and raw emotion than a kiss would have been in that moment. An unresolved fight between lovers rarely end in kisses, and it would be vain to think it should..

@dipsyhappy That's exactly what I was thinking! Normally, I don't really care how frequent or prevalent Aarson shows affection, but that last scene seriously called for a passionate kiss between them before Aaron declaring that he'll never give up on Jackson. The writers made us think that it was going to happen during that scene. But I guess it's pretty clever the way the they keep the fans on their toes. They even got me this time!

Not sure why some of yout hink his acting is not good.......Seriously it is great all sexuality aside it is all believable.

@luckyduck152 Danny's vision on how much affection his character displays is not a negative reflection of his acting capabilities. I think Marc is just as fantastic, but what is it that makes him so much more credible than Danny? The times when they do go in for a kiss, it's Marc that seems more uncomfortable than Danny. None of that matters to me anyway. To me, they're both great actors whether they have their toungs down each other's throat (which is all you guys really care about) or not.

@patroclus33 They did in episode 287. After Aaron told Jackson to breathe in becuase i makes him lighter. It was a quick but it was a kiss!
