(321) Aaron & Jackson - 17th May 2011 

i've found a new love for aaron with the new look.... god he is goergous!

"This might be my last supper." "Is it?" "No. Not Today." I find Jackson very rude and inconsiderate here. He's not giving him mom and Aaron any sort of timeline so everyday they're left wondering what's going to happen and when. It might be Jackson's life that's ending, but it's Hazel and Aaron's lives that will be affected the most. It's partly his personality but Jackson isn't showing much love and/or caring for either of them, in my opinion.

I would hate to see Aaron or Hazel held liable and charged with murder or manslaughter.I love the quality of the UK soaps.They take on serious subjects that other soaps would never talk about.

Ok seriously it just showed Jackson reading up about assisted suicides, so surely he know it's illegal, and Aaron and Hazel could be charged with murder?

is it just me or is Jackson's eye contact almost non-existent?? poor WalLiv...they have been thru so much in a short time

i have to say that last remark was a bit strange "it's your answer to everything" like if she's always looking for her next fill or something sounded I bit off maybe if we were talking about Shadrach RIP or something maybe

@sanyrub LOL! That's pretty much what @alwaysuseless was refering to. Besides that, this show along with the ones you named are top-notch when it comes to soap quality in my opinion.

Ok here is my comment tonight: - Social services finally appeared but people still complain about it? :) - That woman did her job, if these 3 people don´t want help there is nothing else to do: realistic - Aaron has accepted yesterday cos he couldn´t do anything else but you can see his brain is despeartely trying to find a solution before it all happens. I´m so suffering for him - And yes I know about the lack of kisses, thank u all - Any questions? No? Ok good night! Be back tomorrow lol

@Hahuh09 Thanks! To me Emmerdale doesn´t even need to offer more like the yesterday one, cos they have done it so many times I´m sold! But yes please keep them coming :) I love tv gold, like James Sutton says about these people

Is assisted suicide even legal where there at?

@Hahuh09 yeah it felt strange to me too. I didn´t even remember the wine thing last summer, but still. If I´m honest I didn´t even heard it the first time I watched the vid, Jackson says it so low...haha Just after reading your comment I realized. And yes I´m addicted but sometimes I´m grateful for the little breaks once in a while cos without them I´ll probably become totally obsessed :)

@alwaysuseless first I think you are completely misunderstanding my comment i simply said that i was hoping for a little bit more out of the visit from the social worker in this episode but after watching 90210 i honestly can't complain at about anything emmerdale does not that have much to complain about because i love the angst (so not sure where you're coming from with this) imo i wouldn't rate them at the bottom not even close no other soap has me waiting around for the next epi.

@sanyrub exactly what i think i mean yeah i watch all of those shows but none of them have the same effect the writing and the acting has on me frankly if emmerdale keeps it coming with episodes like yesterday i'd trade a million kisses any day this show has me dying when i have to wait for the next show those other shows haven't been doing it for for quite awhile glad someone know what good tv is

This storyline is like a slow and painful train crash (no pun intended!!!)

@Hahuh09 With all the drama these months I forgot, but remember when Hazel appeared last summer? She was always looking for a glass of wine, or the whole bottle! :)

maybe he will see that life is meaningful, now that they are on his side and he doesnt have to argue.......who knows.....

@Hahuh09 My only comment was on your Emmerdale-90210 comparison. Just because 90210 is mostly dreck doesn't mean there's nothing to complain about re a more serious show like Emmerdale. I understand you love angst more than I do. I think in the presence of well-acted angst people tend to overlook or forgive slow pace, repetition & unrealistic writing.

@lovelydiva06 well it's considered assisted suicide and those who take part take in "assisting" would be shorting a person's life which would be considered murder so they would definitely be charged with murdering if they were to be found out that is but it actually depends on where you are because some jurisdictions allow it so it's not really a black and white answer but since when has law ever been so if this doesn't help at all

@Hahuh09 You're comparing a British soap aimed at adults with American fluff aimed at kids in middle school. A fairer comparison would be with Lucas/Edwin (GTST), DeRo (AWZ), Chrolli (VL), or Thomas+Florian (Plus Belle La Vie). Among these shows Emmerdale holds its own in quality of acting, but imo is pretty much at the bottom of the heap in other respects.

Just what is Jackson waiting for anyways? Hes pretty much forced his mom and Aaron to agree, he seemed all too eager to kill himself the last few episodes

Now Hazel, Jackson haven't you just raised/called more suspicions to yourselves just by your actions?

@alwaysuseless of course we all can see flaws in anything & everything whether we choose to comment on them every single time we see them or choose 2 simply accept them 4 what it is & move on 2 say that there is constant adulation in my comments is strange since i did make a comment on not favoring todays episode as much as hoped. i agree on agreeing to disagree like said i'm not here 2 convince u otherwise but the kissinthing overtalked but the acting i feel is new everyday worth the convo.

This show has really gone of the rails. When will this fiasco end. This is one big spiral downward.

compared to yesterday kind of a let down today's episode felt rushed a bit but hopefully more angst to come.... sick right but i've just seen 90210 finale and frankly there are no words to describe the level of suck that show has so i'm enjoying some quality even if its sad

@Hahuh09 I think it's a bit of a double standard to indulge in constant adulation but complain about constant complaining. I don't object to your always commenting only on what you like about the show. I like the show enough to continue watching, and if I usually focus on its flaws, because otherwise I think they'll be mostly ignored, then it seems to me we could still give each other a respectful listening. @sanyrub So they are waiting on a plan of how to off Jackson, well those will be some enjoyable episodes. I'm really sad and ticked at how their story has gone, I have a real bad feeling that things are going to get worse for Aaron and Hazel and his dad once hes gone

now everytime I see an 'Aaron and Jackson' video pop up on my site, I really have mixed emotions (but they are getting more focused). I am beginning to dread seeing this pop up because I am tired of this emotional rollercoaster. I may not even watch this video-OK, so I'm going to watch it, but I am getting TIRED OF THIS.

@sanyrub i definitely remember that but was never something big enough that it even made sense for him to say i don't why but I just thought it didn't fit especially he was the one that bought up the beer but i guess so i can't explain why it felt wrong to me but oh well whats done isdone i just can't wait for todays episode i always died not having one yesterday so use to one everyday same time ;( i'm addicted

@Hahuh09 I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else either. We're both just expressing our opinions. However, the fact that you characterize my opinion as hate tells me that you either misunderstand my view or are being disrespectful & hateful yourself. Emmerdale's portrayal of A&J's supposed mutual attraction seems to me so timid as to border on homophobia. D. Miller discussed his unprofessional, OBVIOUS AVERSION to kissing another actor. The story is flawed. I don't equate angst with great.

@patroclus33 Liza´s rape was an amazing storyline. Jane Cox deserved best actress at the BSA

@superxx57 @Hahuh09 @sanyrub Don't parody my dissatisfaction with Emmerdale as "lack of kisses." There was never any CHEMISTRY between Aaron & Jackson before or after the accident. Post-accident there has been scant UNCHAPERONED time & no request for such by either "lover". Emmedale should have been honest & made this a story about 2 BROTHERS, not lovers. Slow paced, repetitious & UNREALISTIC writing & no exploration of alternatives to killing, but good acting. I've stayed for the acting.

@Hahuh09 thanks for being so concerned about my time and to do something about that, I have stopped watching this tiresome SL between two somewhat unattractive actors playing at being gay; all the while obviously being ashamed of their roles. And while I'm at it, I would like to say that it is VERY difficult to understand the actors on Emmerdale. I know it is a dialectical thing, but they may as well be speaking Greek for most of the English speaking world.

@alwaysuseless Don´t fool yourself. That only other aspect among the ones you are suggesting is the kissing... this one or even HO or Eastenders or Coronation are better than the ones you named

@Hahuh09 watching you and AU is almost as interesting as watching this sad spiraling SL. However, I must comment on the 90210 aspersion. No, it isn't Shakespeare, but it is providing a VERY IMPORTANT function in the US (much like Glee). Recent polls show teens as having the absolute highest approval ratings for acceptance of GLBT people and it is, in great part, due to the pop culture influences of our TV. Don't tell the religious right I said this - heh- they'll try harder to shut them down

Why assisted suicide have become an issue here...its kindda sick to now this has been the topic in this show....find some other lines thats more interesting than assisted suicide...its like promoting assisted suicide and let some viewers do the same....sick...

Aaron looked so guilty at the end. He so did have that I just snitched face! WoW I think im right on the money to. Aaron is just playing along for the moment to try and figure out how he can change Jackson's mind about liveing insteed of dieing.If i was Aaron i would say to Jackson if you die then im gonna die with you. An would say thats the only way i would be on board, Take it or leave it!

Now that Jackson has Hazel and Aaron on his side it's somehow too simple.-Remember he was rushed to hospital a few eposides back with some "attack"?? I think he will have another attack and just die of natural causes due to his condition. Just a theory.
