I just want everyone to know what the difference is in my drag mod to bash mod .this is why I ask what you are doing with the engine.my engines are not one size fits all.
I did a custom pipe on my raminator for the Obr 47 reed lol the chamber is huge and the header & stinger is the same diameter lol and it screams on top my only problem is I have to have my idle screw all the way out in order to lean the low needle or else I'm too rich I'm thinking I'm gonna make the stinger diameter half of wut it is & slightly longer
Could you please help me with a question? I'm building a 2-stroke gasoline engine for a model airplane, using a Stihl fs220 cylinder. But the transfers are small...the engine didn't reach the power I expected. I'm using reed valves. I think that if the transfers were bigger it would improve the power, am I right? thanks
Hi when you remove the cylinder it helps to crate more room for air and fuel to get up the transfers from base and under piston..and makes more crank case volume.
@@srerccustoms537 and reduces crank case pressure which is def not a good thing not to mention there is far less support for the Piston skirt. Ive never seen any of the well known engine builders do this mod.
