.338-06 Reloading and "The Sounds of Silence" 

My 338-06 was the Ackley Improved version. Favorite load was a 200 gr. Accubond Gave 2885 fps. And 1/2” groups. 👍👍😀

Nice job on the reloads! I do a lot of 30'06 reloading and I'm familiar with the .338 cartridge, but never realized some have necked the 06 up to receive the larger bullet. Very interesting. This should be a great deer and hog gun!

What sort of velocities are you getting from this load ?
