Love it, from new lapua brass to the steel plate 1000m nice I was getting a 338 LM💣, the weather has been really bad where I live next days we go shooting 1000m, my load is: 91.2grain N570 on Berger 250gr Elite Hunter. Muzzle velocity: 2780 ft/s keep it up.
I just brought home a RPR-338LM, and the off the shelf ammo is so expensive so Ill eventually start reloading to save a few bucks. Thank you for this in depth and informative video. Cheers-
For 338LM and any other super magnum cartridge you definitely want to look into handloading else the costs go way beyond the price of the rifle if you want any meaningful use out of it. This barrel I'm using has now 4000 rounds of 338LM through it, which if I had purchased factory ammo it would exceed 15K USD on the low end. Factory can go between 3-15USD per round whereas I can load these for 2.50 per round using new brass, and then afterwards reuse the brass and drop the cost down to below 1 dollar. It's worth it for sure. Same goes for the new 300 and 338 Norma Magnums and PRC's.
Thank you that’s very kind! Still trying to find the groove. Open to suggestions. Shorter, longer, less talking, etc. let me know! And thanks for watching.
I would like to know how you set up you lab radar I can seem my properly set up my lab radar I have the same MRAD rifle in 338 lp and 308 w great video
Not sure if it helps, but I ended up using the doppler trigger and external battery (because doppler trigger runs the radar continuously). I never did the external microphone trigger thing. It worked in doppler mode for many years quite reliably. I now run the Garmin but still have the labradar. Thanks for watching.
I honestly can't recall nor find exactly where I got it, but if you have an early MRAD without the MLOK, then you can try these guys: www.sawtoothrifles.com/product/dovetail-rail-barrett-mrad/ If you have an MRAD that is newer, and has MLOK, Area 419 has one that fits the MK22 and other MLOK MRADs just fine. www.area419.com/product/arcalock-rail-for-barrett-mrad-mk22-sniper-system/
