Lord of the Cabins. The Return Of The Bush Plane Part 3 of 3 Thank you all for your support, and thanks for watching! we’ll be back… Instagram: deadmen.yt... Business Email: yancofilms@gmail.com Intro music: Momentum: Tristan Barton
Now you should binge drink some milk, lie on your bed, and roll continuously in circles, pretending you are one of those logs being rolled into position
I imagine your neighbor walking up during the scene with all of you shirtless lifting logs and punching each other and backing away into the woods like that homer simpson meme haha
One more comment and I just saw you guys folding the American Flag. It was very touching for me. The last time I saw that take place was at my Husbands funeral in Tennessee 10 years ago. Thank you for bringing that moment back again. The four of you are a rare breed. Most young people are too busy playing on their laptops or other useless gadgets. Congratulations to all of you for what you’ve accomplished.
May all your memories be grand and your tears happy! I’m impressed with these young men and can only hope I’m raising my son to have the drive and initiative that they have!
Mam, thank you for your Husbands service. If you were handed a Flag then it would have been for a purpose. I agree that young people these days need some help.
Watched your whole cabin adventure with my 12 yr old son. He’s a boy that lives in a time when being a man and putting feet to a man’s dreams isn’t too often encouraged in society. I appreciate what you’ve done here. He got a machete, rope, and a fire starter for Christmas and now has plans for a fort in our woods. That ambition is being fueled in part by your videos. Much appreciated gents.
As his 12 year old son, I can confirm that I wildly swing my machete at piles of wood in the backyard; it may seem unsafe but I know what I'm doing. However I have recently grown tired of the manual labor involved so I decided to switch to trading options, and more recently buying and selling oil futures so I can live in a sweet mansion, smoke weed and play video games when I grow into a fine strapping young lad
As his other 12 year old son. I have decided to take up burning large sums of money for the sheer heat of it. I have also installed twitter and TikTok and spend all of my time endlessly scrolling. I love corporate America.
What a bunch of good friends I have enjoyed this series so much. I’m 73 and living through your eyes. Me and two friends built a tiny cabin in the bush near me and use it often. Take care and I look forward to more videos
Don’t ever lose what you guys have . Brotherhood like this is hard to find . The years go by so fast . Got out in 1991 and only see two of my brothers every year. But when we get back together it’s like we have never been apart. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
A suggestion for the goal of the next visit to the cabin. Prepare it for a visit during winter the following time :) Really enjoyed these, thanks for sharing it with us all!
I know im just a guy in northern Canada you dont know but i really felt apart of this journey. Like i was one of the guys out in the woods right there with you. To simply put it thank you for the emotional amazing adventure
the gear you wear, hiking 4 miles just to watch a river, the gym you made, pullups, that type of humor, that flag folding... all i see here is a bunch of veterans that are living the life they talked about during deployments, those late night talks about life after the military. i'm getting all these things by this video and let's be honest, every one has friends but only in that world you can find some crazy ass dudes that are willing to take a plane and build a log cabin in Alaska, maybe i'm wrong, if i am, you are a lucky man. Good job guys, Rest easy Cabin!
You guys should get a lil garden going for the next trip up there. All you need to pack in as ziploc of seeds, and you could have fresh lettuce in as little as three weeks!
I was a Ringwraith extra in Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring. Weathertop scene. Great to watch an outstanding cabin build. Awesome job guys especially all the extra things built.
I've looked forward to this for weeks and now I'm so sorry it's over😢I'm apparently a selfish person because I was wishing that you guys lived there full time with content for the viewers back home a couple times every week. So we'll all be here waiting for your next adventure. No pressure
The roof will never hold up for long, something needs to be done for longevity, cedar shingles or something of that nature, job well done though, cant wait to see the next trip back
I really enjoyed these videos. I moved to Northern Wisconsin. Still off grid. I had a trail camera that captured most of the build. Still laugh when I think of all my silly mistakes. Had an old dish washer as my ice box (with extra foam and spray foam insulation) as my only refer until I upgraded to a propane refer freezer in 2019. I started with a 12x16 cabin with a loft. It wasn't much, but it was mine. I just love it up here. I don't think I'll ever leave. I bet you all really miss being at your cabin! I hope you get back real soon.
No s***, there we were: knee deep in the elephant grass, gun overhead when we spontaneously broke out in “Fortunate Son”. Never too young for a Nam memory. Loved it. Cheers, Mark
First off I want to say, Thank you for your service to our great country. So as you were talking about your time here at the end. I heard three of you say a hot shower, nothing beats a home shower but maybe that is something to put on the list of needs for the next trip to the cabin, just a 5 gallon bucket filled with hot water hanging above with a hose and shower head. You guys are living your dreams, a lot of us can only dream our dreams. Good luck and stay safe and healthy.
No this ain’t the end of a dream, it just the start because you have to build a village now 😂, all in all awesome videos, favorite channel along with outdoorboys
Getting ready to do this, with no road to the property... But there's a road to the lake, so I can get stuff in by boat. Thanks for helping affirm my decision to haul materials in, rather than try to harvest them from the land.😂 Seriously though, having grown up in Alaska and this will not be my first cabin, I am impressed with what you guys were able to accomplish. I started watching the first video with just two of you, and I was shaking my head at some of the holes in your planning. But you powered through it, and managed to accomplish quite a lot in the time that you had. The second season was pretty awesome and you guys obviously had a much better time doing it. Hard core.
I heard that Spenard Builder's Supply can do helicopter deliveries to remote locations, but I don't know too many details about the costs or anything. Have you looked into that?
@@busimagen There's a guy who offers a barge service for large loads. A friend of mine who has helped build a cabin out there thinks I should buy a snowmachine and a cargo sled, and haul materials in the winter. I hate snowmachines, but that is a popular and effective option too. With the advantage of hauling directly to the site. By boat every piece still needs to be carried from the shore to the site.
Man what a accomplishment please please keep in touch with each other I’m 47 now and had buddies like that in my early 20s and time family and life grew us apart we still talk time to time but not the same.
Well done. Just caught this for the 1st time. I’m 71 and did a lot of stuff in my life. Now my buddies are disappearing for good to that next life. Keep this place. I fear you will need it in the near future. Never give up.
I watched the Prenneke video over 20 years ago and while I know I wouldn’t do it, seeing it done, provides a tonic for the part of me that loves the wilderness. Watching you guys do it as a team I believe is even better!! You can be very proud of your accomplishment!! What’s next, a hunting trip?!
My son's fave movie was The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring lol. I still can recite the opening credits by heart. Cate Blanchett's voice is so majestic. Good job on the cabin. I would LOVE to live in Alaska.
To me, it's sad to see you guys leaving it all behind, returning to this Other world of ours... The ALIENness feeling of needing to get back....home. The lifelong dream is just begun, half your heart will always be there now.
As a veteran I wish I could've done something similar to this when I got out. I can really relate to the brotherhood you have, thanks for sharing this it was a pleasure to watch.
So Impressive Boys. Wonderful work. Loved to see the folding of the flag and love that you boys fly it while you are there. I would love to see more of the interior. Also maybe digging a well and building an outdoor kitchen? Love everything you guys do keep the vids coming. God Bless and Godspeed
As someone mentioned, it would be great for 3rd season for use to go there and take on winter. Arrive just before winter to pre for it and do a winter stay if possible. Good work guys, well done
I've been stationed in Alaska almost 7 years and leave in a couple months...these videos make me wish I had the ambition to do something like this! Love your attidues and really hope your keep the videos coming. The production and editing is amazing and full of talent!
Hello from sunny South Africa 😊 loved your cabin building adventure, so sad its now come to an end😢 I think you need to build an equipment shed, or man-cave or .... I dont know, just build something else, anything, we need more videos 😂 luv watching you guys ❤
Nice shout to Cowboy Kent! Love that. My dad was a WWII Submariner. He would Love this like I do and be right there with you, saying let’s go Boys we’ve got work to do!
I'm a fellow sailor and I just wanted to say thank you for these videos. Unfortunately all of my close Navy and I didn't take the path that the four of you took, good for you and congratulations.
Pretty nice content you guys created and I cannot believe we will have to wait a year for next videos of the cabin!! It’s inspiring to watch people pursue their passion with good friends and build incredible things and moments!! I’m happy to watch it and like I said, will be waiting for next season! Cheers boys.
Wow absolutely fantastic, it reminds me of my younger days out with my brothers, this helps my PTSD, anxiety, panic disorders so much, thank you young men 🙏
I can't wait until the next time you go there again. It's a life project, a bond that is priceless and irreplaceable. I wish you all the best and stay together. Many greetings from Poland. Tomasz
What an adventure! Thoroughly enjoyed watching all 3 videos - from the getgo. 30 lbs lost (each) from the 1st outing; no surprise. Glad you brought more food and more hands. Really found the narration/story telling compelling. Thank you for posting and looking forward to more adventures!
Oh my God I hope the 4 of you know how absolutely beautiful this is! Your comments are filled with people saying it but you all actually made me tear up! Amazing story telling with the editing and the 4 of you all bring so much personality to the adventure and viewers! I can't wait for more! Also, unbelievable what you all could accomplish you a month!
Cody is my bro. The gun guy, the introspective guy. One observation is that I think Cody and Josh have a bond with the land and the work of their hands than Sean and Dash. Ain’t disrespecting either of them, but that kind of longing to return to the Real World but. It really wanting to is a thing I’ve experienced in my own life. I am 110% in on y’all’s adventures and while my “Alaskan Cabin” is still some years away as I slave to the man, my time will come. I’ve got a Brother or 2 in mind that I think would experience something like this with me, but I also know I’m capable of doing my own thing although without the amenities you guys have. Well done across the board Navy brothers. Well done. (Still the best YT videos I’ve watched.)
Greetings watched the whole adventure, outstanding!! hope you all a bright future, keep that friendship!! I cant believe Cody is the image of my cuz Ron Pretty Flute, Nam vet (173rd/ The Herd). Thanks for the enjoyment of watching the build! Ohan Mitakuyaoyasin (we are all related)
Truly inspiring group of friends setting out to rebuild there home away from home. All 4 of you should be really proud of yourselves. I really enjoyed the videos. I can't wait for season 3. Simple life away from the Rat Race we call modern life.
When I was 18 a friend and I took a three month long wilderness canoe trip and lived in a small canvas tent with a woodstove. It was a great adventure and your cabin videos brought back a lot of the memories from that adventure. Sadly, life, jobs and raising a family interferes with adventure but now that I’m retired I’m enjoying week and month long adventures again! Being all Navy you guys might consider a sailing voyage to Antarctica on the tall ship Europa! It was the month long adventure of a lifetime for me! Also, I recommend driving either or both roads to the Arctic Ocean, The Dempster in Canada and the Haul Road in Alaska. Finally, I think you guys should definitely go to Burning Man together at least once for the fun and the experience. Anyway, thanks for the great adventure videos! Liked & subscribed!
