I literally don’t mind if you do a 1hr session of your own nickname for GRE vocabs like u did with the 1hr vocab test. It’s prob the only video on youtube that I sat through an entire hr for. Keep up in what you’re doing and I love your channel. Personally, I don’t think you will have competition if you keep it up.
Your channel is really helpful in making my GRE preparation easier not only in terms of the material you provide but also how it is presented at a manageable pace.
Hi Philip, I'm so grateful to have come across all your amazing videos before I took the GRE again. I was stuck at V 152 in my last two trials, which were a few marks short from my target score. After going through your videos, I managed to get a 160, which was actually higher than I expected. Couldn't thank you enough for your great teaching!
Just ONE DAY after watching this video I have memorized way more words in one day than I have been the past month. Thank you so much for the tips! Your videos are the BEST! Love the math ones too, they have been so helpful!
Basically I am back with to this video just to tell you how much I have improved. I have watched quite a few videos and all of them were helpful. Thank you so much for making Verbal Analysis perspicuous to understand. I feel really confident for Verbal and quants sections now. Thanks Philip : ))
This is hands-down the best method for memorizing new words. Mnemonic dictionary is helpful but I think it's better to try and come up with your own first. I have several lists and even when I don't look at one of them for days, my brain easily remembers the mnemonics whenever I do get back to it. Thanks for all your great content - your reading comprehension videos were the best I've found, too. :)
I'm doing the GRE in two weeks. I easily scored 8.0 in the IELTS but still struggle with the GRE vocabulary. Your videos are really helpful, like really. Thanks for all your efforts.
I really appreciate your pointers and great advice! I am studying for my second attempt at the AFOQT. Your lessons are already making a huge difference!
Hey, Philip! I'm from Bangladesh, and I'll hopefully be sitting for GRE this October, which is about less than 3 months from now. I can relate to you so much! Learning vocabs has indeed been a wonderful and fun journey for me so far. I'll get back to you when I crack the exam. Thank you!
Hey Philip, yours is the most amazing channel I came across on RU-vid searching for GRE strategies. You have explained quantitative and verbal in much lucid way which makes it more interesting. Keep going. Thank you so much for sharing easy strategies which would help not only for GRE but also in long run.
I've been able to retain most of my vocabulary words through your videos and relative nemonics. Your tips are so unique and one can easily comprehend. Thank you so much! Hope to see your following expand.
Hi! You are so amazing. Your strategies of learning gre help me a lot. i have found your techniques Learning new words, passage reading is very effective. Thank you a lot for your efforts!
Um I have my exam in 2 days and I literally don’t know what I am gonna do :( my scores in the diagnostics is very bad, but your video motivated me for sure
For Spanish speakers, this is even easier because there are also words rooted in Latin that link that sounds and also means the same thing. For example “deportment” and “porta” for behavior… “facilitate” and “fácil”…. “Salutory” and “salud”…
I am glad I came across your channel, was struggling with memorizing new words. I had a diagnostic test before, will check all the videos and see how my score improves after. Thank you !
The 1st method is similar to mnemonics. Actually there is a website mnemonics dictionary, it's quite helpful. Example: repudiate =reputation+ate= disown or cast off or renounce. I know it's not the correct way but try out you can remember words easily.
