35+ Gadget Tips for Battlefield 2042 you should definitely know! - Beginner Tips and Tricks 

Another fun tip for Anti-Tank mines... place one around a corner and shoot towards the enemies to get their attention, then run away, turn around and aim your weapon at the AT mine, when the infantry comes around the corner shoot the AT mine and watch the enemies fly away lol it's fun!

Smoke grenades putting out fires has blown my mind, not going to lie

I also love using AT mines. They don't have the immediate reward that C5 does, but I always get a chuckle when im doing something else altogether and get the notification that a vehicle was destroyed. Some tips for success: - Place them in areas that typically do not see much combat, as drivers will be less attentive. I love to place them right outside the enemy base, taking out vehicles before they have a chance to do anything - Place them in areas that reduce the drivers ability to react to them. For example, if you place them just over the crest of a hill, the driver cannot see them until they come over the hill and by then it is usually too late. Also, if there is a crater in the ground you can hide them in the crater so they are harder to spot. - You can have some fun placing them next to a vehicle and then shooting them to set them off. When you do this, the kill will be credited to the weapon that you used to shoot the mine. I have probably confused a lot of tank drivers by apparently blowing them up with a silenced g57 - Use Sundance and her wingsuit to get behind enemy lines and place them more effectively

As someone who almost always has some form of smoke grenade in each load out, I will say I noticed a few things about the underbarrel smokes. They are kinda glitchy, sometimes I see the cloud appear, then it immediately dissipates. Sad, but it can come in handy either way. It also has the potential to break line of sight of people in higher areas. If far enough away, the grenade explodes on contact with whatever it hits. If you want to disrupt an enemy on a roof, and they have Irish sentinels, shooting the grenade just below the roof can create a cloud that still reaches where the enemy is. I think it also has the most potential to disrupt sniper's line of sight, as it's range is incredible and plenty of snipers don't use Irish sentinels. Also helpful for making a tank lose focus, possibly allowing you to either close the gap or run away in time.

One additional tip about the SOFLAM lockon - You mentioned how it lets the Recoilless and the FXM lockon to opposite targets, but it's nice to know that it also works in vehicles! That is to say, a vehicle with the "AT" or "AA" lockon weapon package can also lock onto a SOFLAM-designated target, regardless of whether it's air or ground. AT can fire on aircraft if it's been SOFLAM locked, and AA can fire on landcraft if it's been SOFLAM locked. This makes for really enjoyable teamplay if you can coordinate with a friend :0) TheCadWoman lifts up the 2042 community

One thing I use is, if I see a icon of an ammo crate on the HUD in a bush or a concealed space, I always am a bit careful around it. Often there could be someone prone in there, sniping or just trying to ambush. So the icon can give a hint about that.

Tip: Crawford and Lis with ammo crate, lis with frag grenade- liss shoots her rockets at enemies, tisses nade to kill herself, crawford revives her, lis then soams her rockets again and repeats...add more lis for infinite rocket spam!

For the AA missile if you hold the fire button while it is locking on it will fire instantly it does lock on.

Something which might not be obvious when repairing helicopters from the passenger seats: You don't actually need to aim the tool at the physical frame of the vehicle, like you had to in some older BF games. You can freely look around and keep an eye on things when repairing, which helps with your situational awareness.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it already, but the direction you're facing when deploying the spawn beacon is the direction players will be facing when they spawn upon it. Very helpful detail when placing in contested areas. I'm not certain if this behavior is true for the beacon deployed by the EBLC-Ram; however, logic suggests that the aforementioned remains true. also, holding down the throw button for the throwing knife allows it to travel faster

Another additional info about throwing knife which I tried by myself 😄 you also can get them by running over any ammo icon on the ground, the ammo that falls when you kill someone even if the kill was not by a knife.

I wish they would bring back the lipet charge! Had a blast with them in BF1 lol!

Tip for the knives: you dont actually need ammo crates or angels packs, you get the knives back by the little ammo packs you spawn on a kill aswell, which can keep you going for quite some itme when you are close to the enemies :D

Also mindblown about the emps and force open doors

Clever use of a SOFLAM can tremendously impact a match.

I always use smoke grenades, regardless of specialist or other tactics. It is both tactical, defensive and offensive. A really useful way to use it is to cap objectives since you create confusion, and easily take out unsuspecting enemies with a close combat gun. Accompanies with the ammo crate, you can hold a point while in smoke almost indefinetly.

I keep forgetting about throwing grenades back - used to do it all the time in BFV. MUST REMEMBER!!!

One thing to the throwing knife. Irish gadget doesnt shoot it down.

Another repair tool tip: When you're repairing an aircraft from the passenger seat, you can aim out the window without the crosshair touching anything and still repair the aircraft.

To be honest I think it really sucks that you can even see enemy ammo and med crates on the map. That means you can never place your own ammo crate without revealing your location to an enemy

This is why I watch your videos because I learn Lillie Nuggets of Info that did not know. Trust me I haven't seen anyone that explains stuff like this in such detail. With the knives it tells you in the tool tip you can charge them up for more distance and they also travel faster, everyone should try them out sometime, you spawn with 3 and picking them up after kills is automatic, had some crazy streaks lots of fun!

I wish they had a way to grab ammo/health off of teammates using ammo/medical crates like they did in battlefield 5. I understand it removes some of the team incentive, but some of these people carrying them never drop them when asked.

Ive been using the AT mines recently and i gotta say. they work better than c4 for ground vehicles.

Not necessarily a tip but the radar guided missiles from the jet can be fired straight ahead and deal some damage to whatever they hit. I managed to kill a tank with it recently but that was really lucky because they are very slow and don't deal a lot of damage and aren't very accurate . (the tank was already almost dead).

I wish C4 would be availible for support as it was in previous battlefields and before they put specialists into classes

I'm an experienced bf player since the series left pc, this is the third video I've watched from you that had me like whaat!? Big Up the Ladies playing battlefield series! My lady went from Plants vs zombies,- Paladins to BF2042 I'm so proud of her., anyway please keep up the great content that humbles even the most grizzled bf player.

About the AT mines as well, they deal enough damage that two mines is all you need to destroy a max health Any ground vehicle.

If I have quick throw turned on, can I still switch to knives somehow? You can hold a knife at the ready by pressing throw and then pressing and holding the fire key, which is ideal for grenades, but for knives specifically it would be convenient to be able to just switch to them like any other weapon like cad does in these videos.

I think the incendiary nade is the best nade/most exploitable. Its aoe pierces through many walls/ceilings and I don't think dice is even worried about fixing that.

Hey CadWoman, great video. I was wondering if you knew of a way to keep a bipod deployed as every time you use a throwable or gadget it un deploys and also if you attached 3 scopes how to get rid of one, so you only have to cycle through 2? Thanks!

You missed something. Throwing knives can be resupplied via dropped ammo pouches that killed soldiers drop.

Quick question, how did you zoom out your map and zoom it in at 10:27?

If you set up (let's say 15) AT mines, and then switch to a different operator/class/equipment, will the mines disappear? I guess I should just test this out later when I have time but still would be some nice info. Keep the bf2042 videos coming 👍🏼
