I loved riding my 350x back then it was the funnest bike for trail riding . Everyone had two strokes back then and gas was always an issue. Not so with those bikes you could go on night dune rides for hours it was a blast . They could take a beating also one of the best three wheelers ever made imho.

I bought a brand new Foreman last year and I have to say I would rather ride my 83 big red any day over 4 wheels. 3 wheels are just way more fun and always will be for me!

I owned both an ATC200X and an ATC250R before I was 20yrs old (42 now) and rode them for years, fast, and never once did I crash or flip one over the side....it never made any sense on why people said they were dangerous, clearly any bike is dangerous if the person doesn't know how to ride it 😅

I clicked on it thinking it was another channel that I watch on RU-vid Old Car Guy tou guys look siblings or father and son lol. Yo, it’s got progressive front springs and dampers in the front forks. Mofo got the good shit. Was jank af when I got it. Remember all the bearings and shit were blown out on swing arm and rear carrier? She came along way.

Owned a 200X! Those things are faster than you could imagine and amazingly powerful for a mere 194cc! Seriously the piston is tiny! Had a blast as a kid! P.S. You could ride half the day on a tank of gas as well, Performance and efficency!

Well don’t judge the suspension. The 200x is tired. I had mine rebuilt and then jumped it 3’ in the air and landed like a pillow. It’s crazy how good the suspension was for being mid 80s.
Two of the best atcs Honda ever put out with the 250r being #1 of course I have a decent 87 trx350a fourtrax it has the same top end as the 350x I rebuilt it with a .0040 over wiseco 10:25.1 she’s a heavy old girl but she gets down plenty of torque with that 4valve top end and the 350x and trx350 are true 350cc I love em I bought my 350 fourtrax from a buddy for 500 bucks and the owners manual is still in the trunk and another tid bit Honda built the first 4wd atv with the 1986 Honda trx350a fourtrax yep it’s obvious I’m a bit of a Honda fan but we can get along even though you prefer Yamaha lol you have some awesome toys my friend keep those awesome vintage toys coming 🤙🏻🤙🏻by far the best channel on RU-vid.👍
Have had both and both shine in different areas. Loved the 200 in tight woods trails. The 350 is for max fun and hauls ass. With some 22' tires my 350 would top out at approx 73 and the 200 would do 55. My 85 350x was faster than my 84 250r.
