Watch me do a terrible job of installing my KBD bumper and some quick release rubber band things. -------------- Music by Akiro: / yuna-yuna-hana-akiro-r... Instagram: @DedicationChris
Myke Myke oh shit what up up bro been subbed to you for a min. You inspired me to get a z. I live in sac an was wondering if your boy who does the work on yours is he all booked up for a while cus I might need some work done
The 1970 Plymouth Cuda and Dodge Challenger had an option for an 'elastometric' front bumper the sales brochure states that is made from urethane. Ive seen videos and advertisements of that bumper being hit with hammers.
I didn't see anyone else ask, so: when it unrolled, and went into shape, how much fitment work did you have to do? Trimming? Filling? Thanks for a great video! Increased my confidence enough to give it a go. Cheers
You should get one of the Aluminium under trays, that will push the bumper out to where it needs to be and adds a little protection to the under bits for any off track excursions :) But good vid again.
I did actually buy the metal undertray ages ago lol then never got round to fitting it cos its annoying having to undo all that every time you take the front bumper off (plus half the bolts snapped when I took the original undertray off n I haven't drilled them out yet)
Can't you adjust the centre gap to the bonnet? The bumper would normally be set to the bonnet so there's float/adjustment in the nose section of the bumper (square holes/slots). Losen off the screws and push up to get an equal gap. Looks like it may need packing to lift as well... alternitively, it's a drift car 😂
I'll have a look next time I'm at the unit, but I didn't see any obvious way of adjusting it the way it needed to go initially. Will see how much it stands out when its out in daylight and might just leave it cos #DriftCarInnit
I'm pretty happy with how the rear looks now with the ducktail and little spats at the bottom of the bumper, so probably going to leave it like that until it gets badly damaged lol as for the GT86, think I'm going to sell it but I'll do a video on it soon as a lot of people have been asking what's going on with it
Ha! Blew my mind because my Z is maritime blue.. kind of a shifty color. That color from BMW wasn't out yet I don't think when I did mine or I would've chose it haha. I'm z33pat on instagram. Great Z!
mainly because of how the steering feels with the angle kit on it. Tried loads of things and spent too much time n money trying to improve it, but nothing has helped really.
That paint job looks TERRIBLE! I can see the voids and errors on camera. If you can see it in the video it’s ganna be hella bad in person. I know because I worked at a body shop for 3 years.. Find a new shop bro that’s horrible.
ChrisDrift you really felt that insecure you had to hit my profile to justify your self. That video was pretty deep too 😂 Thanks for the view tho bud 👍
