Unfortunately my Mach has a leaking front shock at the moment and I don't have an ETA on the repair just yet. If by some chance it's repaired quickly I'll keep you posted. @Gaetan Desrochers, I personally don't know anyone or have experience to comment on a stock sled but Dave at Hurricane tells me that anyone doing long pulls will definitely benefit. You should contact them at to chat more. I did also make a video about the intercooler specifically but it was on a tuned Mach, you might still be interested in the results.

I only got to ride it on a few long trail rides last season but fill ups were in line with what my 850 Lynx was taking so I don’t think it has changed much. I will pay closer attention to those numbers this season and report back in future videos.

@justsasky10 No, there is no blow off valve with this kit.

I love my Mach but I’m not convinced the extra weight is all about quality. My 22 Rave (although 850 2 stroke) is much lighter and it has definitely been built with quality in mind (beefier chassis and suspension). As far as reliability, my Mach had a front shock go bad at around 3000km mark on it. There was a minimal impact which I caught in another video. Anyway, love the sled and it is a beast indeed!

You are a bit off with your dry weights. The Z is not the heaviest. Yamaha doesn't post dry weights but Winders have been weighed and they are in the ball park of 590# dry. The Z is 550, new Boost is 491 and na Polaris 850 475. Boost will give the Winder a good run this year being 100#'s lighter. Great vids Vince! Keep em coming!

Hey @Dan Jones, The tune is great! Brings the sled to where it should have probably been from the factory. I also have a New Gen5 850 in the garage but all I ever want to ride is the Mach. It always brings such a smile on my face lol. As for costs well that is a bit more of a personal decision on if you feel it might be worth it. Everyone's budgets are different here. Ah, I'm glad you enjoyed it @F.N. of afn Shitty about not being able to ride this season. My Mach was unfortunately hurt (leaky smart shock) for the last month of the season and I was pretty bummed about not being able to ride it again. I would absolutely love to meet up for a ride next season. @kris I, from my understanding Turbo dynamics doesn’t offer anything for the Mach Z or at least they didn’t last season when I purchased.

@Jeff S yes, still very happy with it! Only issue I had with it was it sometimes needed multiple cranks to start in “warmer” temps but they have since fixed that with an update 👍🏼 Going to be putting out more content this season about the inter cooler and maybe even a stage 2 250 😈

@Tate Winegar you ain't bursting anything. Top speed is not why I modded the sled. I think it's a mistake to use top speed as your only marker. Also, I still have launch control and Eco mode so I'm not sure about your later comments?

@@BeaverTailToys your words at 18ish minutes. You said you had no eco mode. Eco mode was a late update they just added so now maybe you have it but not from the factory eco switch. Your sport eco sport plus switch no longer works, right? Your sled isn’t “faster” than it was stock. What did they say about diagnosing problems at a local snowmobile dealer? Does it still monitor fault codes a skidoo tech can solve? Or did you spend thousands of dollars, hours and hours of time, drove however many miles, and wound up with a sled that’s less repairable, less efficient, with switches that no longer function, and no extra top speed?

I’m just trying to be devils advocate I’m a fellow mach owner who was hoping for a little more top speed and i keep watching videos of guys going to 230hp and none of their sleds are able to go any faster and I keep getting frustrated seeing that the only Mach’s that go any faster are having to get cranked up to 250hp+. I bought a mach z to have the “fastest” skidoo i could buy and I’m pretty confident 850 e techs can do 116-118mph it’s frustrating the mach can’t leave etecs in the dust on lakes and up north straight aways. I just want 10 miles an hour more, and it seems I need to spend 8 grand on a 250hp+ kit to do it and that is frustrating and doesn’t make sense
