I school in enugu before I left to the states at the age of 19, even though I am from anambra state, my love for enugu is topnotch, I am coming soon to invest massively in enugu, enugu is a lovely state to be believe me.

I'm largely impressed with the things Gov. Peter Mbah has achieved in 1year. I'll prefer a Governor with vision, capacity and audacity than a wobbling, clueless, land grabbing, mediocre, unabashed semo-eating glutton; any day any time! A working Governor is better than a eating Governor! If development and infrastructure must be built or improved upon then demolitions are inevitable... A river does not flow through the forest without bringing down trees! May Enugu State succeed! ©ArcKGS

The guest listed hosting a law conference with over 15 thousand attendees. He then turns around query the construction of a 5-star hotel. Where are 15 thousand or more guests going to stay in Enugu? We Nigerians are very difficult to please. The guest was speaking about the multiplier effect of hosting such a big conference while hesitant about the accompanying accommodation. The governor should be given a chance to implement his agenda. One should only criticize with facts, not innuendos.

You know he spoke about renovating Nike Lake, and Hotel Presidential. Also, you think these thousands of attendees will be hosted in one hotel, right? If both hotels gets revamped, with other hotels in the city, hosting such number will not be an issue. Then the multiplier effect will really multiply!

U spoke my mind right here. I was expecting chief Vera to at least say that this governor is proving her wrong one yr down the road cos I remembered her seriousely campaigning for CHIJIOKE EDEOGA & let me be clear here though, as far as am concerned it her birth right to support who ever she wants but given that thesame EDEOGA was a commissioner for environment under the incompetent governor in history called ugwuanyi of which enugu state was almost turning into old abandoned but still she was proudly behind him & her reason in defence of EDEOGA was after all he wasnt the governor so no one should hold him accountable, & now she's almost judging this governor as he has already spent 8 yrs in office even though her tittle of the programme was about one yr in office. Honestly the problem of Nigerian can never be solved if we don't change how we think & how we judge.

All in all it, from this video, it sounds like your governor has made more progress than the country at large. But then, it's not like Tinubu has set the bar very high. Still, if your guest's appraisal of progress is true, that sounds very good considering what's going on in some other places in Nigeria and the country overall. Nice interview Vera.

Thank you, Chief Vera, for a one-year update since Peter Mba was elected. It’s hard to differentiate between what is a state issue and what is a national issue that’s holding back progress. It’s a shame that the water system has degraded to the point that major repairs have to be done everywhere. Here in the US the local authorities plan out over a number of years the progression of replacing the sewer lines and work concurrently with the road repair department to ensure not doing the same fix twice because the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing. Hopefully, there is now better coordination between departments in Enugu to ensure the same results.

Key word here is coordination! The departments are rarely coordinated. The work never ends. You’d fix a road today and break it up tomorrow for cable lines, or water lines, then seal it up and break for expansion. It’s chaotic….but we hope fruitful chaos 😝

Peter mba only cares about the investors he brings to Enugu Destroying ndi Enugu properties without compensation just because of the so-called investors. Ndi Enugu is looking at him Many owners are now tenants Many businesses have been destroyed. He left everyone in bad condition. peter mba must learn from otti Individual who demolished his properties in Nchatancha continues to cry to this day and other communities

Over 98% of the people has no pipe water, but this man claims there is water in his area therefore Peter mbah has done well, is it not living in denial ? Note alot of money has been borrowed towards the water project which brings enugu debt to over 300 billion I don't know how he can claim the 365 days is a success.

We’ve been watching to see how the project goes for everyone in the state. I’m yet to get water but works have been going on around town, but not as much as it were before now.
