Agreed! This is in the category of "RAT ROD" Rat rods are badass under the hood but lack the "paint job". Enthusiasts are the only ones that understand what I mean. People who are only more concerned about the paint job and the "look" of going fast are just posers. What cracks me up are those people with mustangs and camaros with V6 engines and have the aftermarket mufflers and wheels to make the car look and sound fast but true enthusiast know the difference. Why dump the money in those cars?!? start with a V8 and slap an aftermarket muffler on it instead lol...This guy is a true enthusiast and knows exactly what he was doing. Be proud of the peeling and chipped paint, its faster that the guy with the shiny mustang with the flowmaster attached to the v6! lol..Good job and a TRUE RAT ROD!

depends on which traction you want. thick sidewall tires will give straight line traction, but will make the car wallow and learn hard in turns, and even slide out. thin sidewall tires will flex less and give you better cornering. not everyone wants to go straight.

go fast or run pump gas. around here we have learned s-10/ s-15 trucks are heavy. I know I had a 4 cyclinder truck from the factory. I sold it off and got a 1800 pound car. no body in Kentucky respects s-10/ s 15 trucks because we know they are heavy every place but the rear end. smoke them tires.

Fuel rails, slightly larger radiator, compatible mounts, and a torque converter or clutch to match. You also might have to cut into the firewall a bit to fit it
