Everything said here today is absolutely wild! I had to listen to this 5 times and transcribe this talk to catch every point. This has to be listened to every month so we stay on track. A phenomenal talk!
Sara, hi. Are you open to sharing or posting your transcript? Would be helpful in getting wider exposure. For example you could post a Google Drive or Dropbox link. Thanks,
@@wjcroft72 RU-vid already provides a transcript for this video. If you don't see where that is in the settings, ask Google to show you where it is. But these are some timestamps for some key points: - Kiran Krishnan is a microbiologist - 3:37 the most devastating part of leaky gut is the flood of the LPS toxin from your intestines into your bloodstream that goes and affects your entire body especially your brain - 4:56 LPS is measurable. you can measure how bad your leaky gut is 3-5 hours after eating which is why many people feel bad after eating - 10:13 having toxins from bugs is normal and not problematic. your problems start when those bad things go from your intestines into your bloodstream via a holey intestine - 11:00 the reason your blood getting infected is so bad is because it makes your immune system go wild trying to stop the blood poisoning. So 1 meal can cause your immune system to try and fight a blood poisoning for the next 2 weeks. - 12:37 15 years ago it was discovered that an overactive immune system fighting chronic inflammation is responsible for our major diseases. - 13:40 only in the past 7 years has it been discovered that leaky gut/weak microbiome is the root cause of an overactive immune system. - 16:18 leaky gut is progressive. leaky gut in 1 area will cause leaky gut in the adjacent part of the intestines. - 18:00 one thing that can completely wreck your intestines is weak oral microbiome. - you're supposed to protected from a weak oral microbiome but that fails when you have things like h. pylori, low stomach acid, or bad liver/gallbladder - 20:00 low stomach acid leads to liver/gallbladder problems which leads to SIBO which leads to leaky gut which leads to constipation. LEAKY GUT IS A DIRECT CAUSE OF CONSTIPATION. constipation turns all illness into a never ending cycle. Overeating relates to low stomach acid. - 25:23 LPS can go deep into your brain and affect your memory and processing power - 30:55 an overactive immune system causes neurodegeneration! And the first symptom of Parkinson’s is chronic constipation! - 56:50 there are bugs that purposefully create neurotransmitters to go up your brain and cause panic and anxiety. so anxiety can be completely caused by just your bugs
I have no words to adequately express how I am feeling, after watching this. The closest I can come to is perhaps... winning a lottery, throwing open the curtains to a sunny morning after a brutally stormy night, or simply and most profoundly... the precious "A-HAH" moment. Thank you for making all those foreign sounding words, a digestible language 😌🙏❤
I appreciate the level of conversations/podcasts I can find Kiran in!! And every time I am getting new information. Amazing 😁 You are helping SO MANY people live a more normal life. We are able to participate in daily activities again ❣️
Knowledge bombs. I've heard of leaky gut, LPS in blood getting through tight junctions due to microbiome dysfunction, Steven Gundry talks about it constantly. The difference is that Kiran advocates for developing a better microbiome to deal with lectins and oxalates etc. while Gundry is similar to carnivores: remove the trigger (but still keep eating veggies)
Thank you both. I love listening to Kiran. He is not only a great researcher but also a fantastic teacher. He takes complex things and explains them simply and clearly. I have RA and have taken Megaspore for about five years. I would get everyone on it if I could and have recommended it to a number of people with chronic illnesses. I just wish MegaPre did not contain milk as I am gluten and dairy free to help my autoimmune disease. Thanks again.
Love love love Kiran! This was an excellent video! So much great info! I love it! Everyone should see this video…thank you for having Kiran on your show!
@@ourhealthpath yes I did thank you .I have subscribed look forward to more videos I usually have to rely on the Americans or Austrailians 😀 but he is my no.1 🤫
Oh sorry I can’t remember which products he mentions in this episode. It may have been megaspore biotic or mega prebiotic? If you head to our shop on www.healthpath.com and search ‘microbiome labs’ you might recognise the product there?
Sorry but we can’t make medical recommendations over this platform. We hope you understand. Treatment of H.Pylori is very context dependent - it doesn’t always need eradicating. We recommend speaking with your health practitioner/GP.
