3am In The Florida Everglades 

Hey everyone, I was expecting to put out a new Abandoned video before this however there has been an unexpected death in my family and I have been forced to stay at my parents house. I decided to put together this quick video with some of the footage I took while in the glades. I figured it would be better than nothing. I am working as hard as I can to get a new episode of Abandoned out for everyone. Stay tuned on the Friday after next.

You know, there's a sort of bizzare calmness in the Everglades. No lights, no loud city sounds, just you, the swamp, and the night sky.

As someone who was born and raised in Everglades city I really DO NOT recommend just walking through a place like "Alligator Alley" or 41 at night. People go missing and the place has a very spooky ambiance.

You say "I realize this video might be boring for some..." then an underwater alligator starts slinking towards your camera, eyes glowing... Lol your videos are NEVER boring they're AWESOME!! :-)

As a Florida native, the city of Naples and it's inhabitants are scarier to me than what is in the Everglades. Great video.

Spent many a nights out there, seen a lot of stuff, off Loop Rd camping, hunting and fishing, love it. Cool ya went on a moon night, however yer video was much too short...I would watched that for hours......

Ever thought of doing a video on the cancelled Everglades Jetport?

I sit on my rocking chair in my porch, listening to most of these sounds. Especially when it’s raining the toads & Frogs start singing it’s always a beauty out here at Glades! Best view besides the nature around is the night sky!

In our school we had to have a talk about how lake okeechobee was contaminating the waters nearby since the built a dam between the lake and the ever glades (Everglades are like filters for the lake ^^)

Dude, you guys are nuts. I've lived in Florida since 1989 and I would never go into the Everglades at 3am. The place is crawling with pythons.

This wasn't boring to me , as someone who lives in Utah ( born and raised) this was very interesting to me, I've been to Florida once but I stayed in Hudson so I didn't get to explore much of the state , all those noises I've never heard before including the frogs ( I thought they were birds 😂🤦🏼‍♀️) and I thought the bird sound was a monkey hahaha smh , those Gators were huuuuge that was awesome thanks for sharing :)

Poor passengers of Eastern Air Lines Flight 401. They've crashed into the Everglades in 1972. Imagine spending hours between those trees without the road under your feet. That's what happened to them, 75 people have survived. Thank to the heroes Robert Marquis and Ray Dickinsin whom were hunting for wildlife when the plane crashed next to them.

Love your raw film style Jake. Writing is succinct and to the point. BSF is one of many great examples of how good talent and the YT platform works with splinter crews and niche topics that a lot of people enjoy. I hope this medium length format never dies because it serves culture even if it's often tough to find sometimes. Not bite sized but not too long to outlive a lunch break.

I live in Naples! Pretty cool that you guys were here. Would have loved to go adventuring with you. I spent a few weekends camping in the Everglades. It's a pretty neat experience if you don't mind the mosquitoes. .. and the humidity. PS, watch out for Skunk Ape!

This brought back some good memories for me. I used to go to that part of the country every year with the Travel & Fishing show I worked for. Searching for gators at night was one of our favorite things to do when we weren't filming.

Great video guys I love the Everglades was there 4 years ago near Miami. We went on One of those pontoon boats to it was amazing I really didn’t know too much about the Everglades until after I was there and that sucks so much. The day we went on the boat suck because it was kind of cool and it was really rainy so we didn’t see too much but what I know now if I knew then I would’ve spent every day on the Everglades instead of going on the cruise lol great video

Loop road in Big Cypress is so noisy at night, unbelievable! During the day you can hear a pin drop. Really far out during a full moon. Looking down the fakahatchee strand at night is so eerie hearing the thousands of mating calls from Gators.

Fascinating for those of us who live in a different part of the country. Beautiful sights. Beautiful sounds, including the music 🎼🎵🎶TY
