My suggestion for your next project; pleeeeease I would love to see a remade Windrider mount. Yes I know Blizz made one with the big horns, you know the one, but I really want to see the classic windrider looking like a proper leopard-lion-bat-scorpion. Plus all the animal textures would be a fun challenge for you! ;D

You do really cool things and Blizzard should take inspiration from them or, better yet, adopt them completely. Unfortunately you didn't do a good job here, the old version from 2004 looks a lot better. You can see the glow of the old weapon even from a great distance, it doesn't always need these flame effects. The weapon is simply timeless, just a little too small. Sometimes less is more.

I gotta say, I was worried when you mentioned you were adding some flames to it, but they turned out well! Huge fan of it, making it look like the spikes broke the surface of the hammer, allowing the flames inside to escape!

Amazing work! Now just to get Blizzard to stop using 2H Sword animations/stances for ALL of the 2H weapons... xD has always kind of bugged me that the handle is designed for that close grip hand position... xD

Absolutely amazing! I love the Purple Flame and Fel Flame variants so much, especially the fel flame one, I am a HUGE sucker for anything fel green lol. Keep up the amazing work Tom!

One of the things i hated about the stat squish they did years ago, was my classic lvl 60 Pally, who has this mace, got squished to a mere lvl 25... But the Mace?.. oh no, that now requires lvl 30 to equip!!! **shakes fist** Love ya work! I like how you inverted the flames on the purple version!

god i will always hate the 2handed animations so much, i know they're made for 2handed swords and making 1 addition set for 2handed mace/axe would have taken too much time and conflict with hit frames for warrior spells, but man.. it's been over 20 years now, do something blizzard ahah

would be awesome to have this weapon on game with an effect similar to "when reaches x amount of y the weapon turns into xx doing yy" and changing from the red glowing (to the outside/releasing energy) to the purple version (glowing to the inside/gathering energy) and make it a "on use" ability to explode or something. BTW Great job!

While I think you did an absolutely amazing job, I feel like the original (to me at least) looks like portions of it are made from gold, which is an effect that was definitely lost in the cata remake and partially lost here. Also wasn't a big fan of how spikey it became versus how much more of a quirky hammer the original felt like. Though definitely props to the haft and pommel of it, those parts look ace and the fire effects you made are wholly dope especially the lava drip effect. As ever, great work!

Nice remodel. When I saw you model the pommel, I thought you add some fiery flaming jewel (in time 2:12) that represent the elemental power (or dancing flame). And it would suit well for void and fel version of the weapon aswell.

I love your design, but WoW in general is terrible with weapon designs. All those spikes on the handles where hands are meant to go, and spikes facing back towards the user.

How about remodeling some of the HD player models to more closely resemble classic counterparts? Off the top of my head I know there are a couple human male hairstyles that suck on the HD model.
